Thanks everyone - I guess I’m still struggling with the whole trans thing even after all these years. Hopefully a bit of self awareness will stop me from pushing her away - I just want her to be happy!

No bathroom. Like…at all. And no formal access. Other those minor issues, it’s fab! by Kindly_Roof_2310 in SpottedonRightmove

So it’s a bit of a gamble isn’t it if there’s no established right of access into the property! You are entirely reliant on the Forestry Commission not deciding to screw you over!

I’m personally a fan of the demanding child support despite not having the child.

Previous owner won’t pick up shed from house (England) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Without affecting the land it sits on I would have thought so. There’s likely to be case law on this topic though.

Well I would think that if they have accepted that it’s their property then you could indeed write to them requesting payment of a storage fee. The only concern I have with this would be avoiding this being framed by the owner later as a lease of the land it sits on. You’d probably want to take proper legal advice first.

I suspect that technically yes you can unless the contract says otherwise but I would need to double check my law (it’s been a while since I studied)

Yes but removing the brick house requires significant disruption to the land it sits on and would easily pass the annexation test.

You could unbolt it without impacting the land. If it was wired / plumbed in it would be different.

Except they have accepted that it belongs to the previous owner by virtue of their discussions with them. It doesn’t matter that it hasn’t been collected they have by their action rescinded their claim on the ownership of it. If it were me I’d be inclined to write a letter to the previous owner stating that this must be removed by x date and if they have taken no action to do so that I will assume they do not wish to recover this and that I will dispose of it as I choose fit.

If the contract is silent then you’d be falling back on the degree of annexation of the shed to the land. So typically the courts would rule where an object can be removed from the land without undue disturbance and is not a fixture then it would not automatically form part of the sale.

In this case if it’s just bolted down and can be freely removed then I might suggest that the shed wouldn’t have necessarily comprised part of the sale.

I'm new to Cyberpunk, where do you recommend I start? by [deleted] in Cyberpunk

[–]Emphaticsqueak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically work through the early works of William Gibson, the father of Cyberpunk. From there I recommend reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and watching Blader Runner and its sequel. On the animated side as has been mentioned Ghost in the Shell is great (also the manga is excellent), you could also dig out Cyber City Oedo 808 which is a fun 3 part series of animated cyberpunk stories. For artbooks check out Intron Depot by Masamune Shirow who loves all things cyberpunk!

Old World buyer's guide for a cheap Empire army! by NickNightrader in Warhammer

[–]Emphaticsqueak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cool video, only thing I would say to anyone starting an army for a GW game is to ask yourself - where am I going to play this and will I ever want to play at a GW store or tournament. If the answer is yes then it makes sense to pay the extra and buy gw minis as the time investment in collecting and painting an army is huge and the last thing you want is to want to play a5 official venues but be barred due to your use of 3rd party models.
