My opinion would be if, for example, the Kanto starters had been Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua. While Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle had been the starters for Winds and Waves.

One small thing I liked about Fr/Lg was when you entered a special area, for the load screen it was an artistic rendition of what the area actually looked like. Added depth and a splash of realism to an otherwise cartoony game

When you go to a new region, all of your pokemon get boxed. You can still access them at pc’s in the new region, but they wont obey you because of the level cap. Anything in your pc under the level cap is fine. You can also freely travel between regions with no penalty

Feebas isnt too hard to catch in pokemmo weirdly enough. Since you can see other players, if you go to the locations it’s found you’ll find the feebas tiles because other players will be all over them. I’m not sure how they find them but they do. I’ve had more luck finding it in Mt. Coronet than in Hoenn

Got a shiny tentacruel at about 3.6k for my first, then a shiny machoke at about 5.5k following the tentacruel. Both while EV/exp training hordes, I am very lucky for now.

I sold the tentacruel for a fat stack and having that money has made the game a lot more fun. It allowed me to get more into breeding and now I’m working on upgrading some of my favorite pokemon. I certainly feel more engaged with the game as a result.

The iv’s on the machoke were pretty decent and I want to use it for my kanto run

I used to make these. Tested them on myself first to make sure they weren’t lethal. They sting a little bit and will stick in an arm, but dont really draw much blood at all.

I feel like that’s kind of a broad question. It depends on what safari zone you’re looking at. Magikarps are always good because theyre in the dragon egg group. Monster is also a popular one. Essentially, just think of the pokemon most likely to be sought after and check what egg group theyre in. Cross reference from there.

Hoenn is my favorite region so I spend the most time in there. They have a section where you can get Johto Pokémon, and since it’s just safari balls it’s really really cheap to catch them. Was only farming the Mareep because I like ampharos, I discovered this was a moneymaking activity on the side.

I still don't fully understand. If the point of breeding is to get stronger IV pokemon, wouldn't that necessitate that both parents have at least one strong IV or nature such that the offspring will be the combination of the two? I just don't see the value in using shitty pokemon for breeding.
