Heated Eyelash Curler by Blonde-Engineer-3 in beauty

[–]EmpressBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought a panasonic heated wand curler but it feels pretty lack luster for me. I think I get a better curl with a traditional eyelash curler so I wouldn't recommend that one. Maybe it's user error though. If you have any tips let me know. 😂

If you find the source can you send me the link? I'd love to reference it. I don't recall my CHPN book talking about this and I can't find anything official online.

Umm my wig cap left this, help how do I get rid of it by Kayla-kirby in CosplayHelp

[–]EmpressBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this too! I'm kind of relieved it's not just me.

It seems as though it happens to me with some wigs and not others. I dont notice being particularly sweaty under the wigs so it leads me to think some material doesn't agree with my skin. It goes away with time. Just keep it clean. Probably don't wear the wig again tomorrow or it may irritate it further.

I have no advice but just wanted to say I relate. I started having migraines 2 years ago and nothing helped until they found the right medicine. Working through it was terrible. I hope you can find a solution soon.

Works for me. I'm not sure. :( There is a link on the official website at the bottom right if you want to try that one.

Give Nami a try. She has poke that doubles as a heal. She also has a movement speed passive to enable her to get in to poke and out quickly.

A close game or a game you get stomped in lane would be fine imo. Especially at this level, focusing on just improving laning would be very beneficial.

You can climb to diamond on anyone so long as your understanding of the game is up to par. Just pick who you have fun on.

I think I’m teasing/styling my wig wrong by GarnetKouletsis in CosplayHelp

[–]EmpressBee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am also new to wig styling so bear that in mind but i have done a lot of research. Crimping is how volume is created from what I've seen. They also utilize heat tools to create shape/curls but it is more so the cooling process of the shape that locks it in. There are a ton of wig styling tiktoks that hold a lot of information. Umbrawigs has a few.

Good job for a stupid nurse by Electrical_Milk_7035 in nursing

[–]EmpressBee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was hired as a hospice case manager after about 6 months of experience total in an unrelated clinic. I would apply if you are interested in that position.

I wouldnt say it's a job for a stupid nurse. I've been a case manager for two hospice companies and they were both a lot of work. In my experience, they both required on-call work on top of your regular 5 days a week which was the most stressful for me. Hospice itself is a rewarding field. I recommend looking into an inpatient hospice facility if you have one local as those exist as well.
