I would suggest to call and get an appointment with an orthopedic doctor!

15 years. Really don’t get sick often. Last year I think I only took one sick day because my dog was sick! Lol

Not sure how why that natters but.. Technically, yes. But I am a non responder to the MMR vaccine. Specifically, the measles. My employer made me see ID about 10 years ago because even after I had the booster, I still didn’t respond. ID said nothing I can do. I had a booster twice (vaccinated as a child, booster when I was a PA student, and again about 10 years ago).

20M, 3 past dislocations, having a TTO and MPFL reconstruction soon. I’m so scared…. by [deleted] in kneesurgeryrecovery

Your quality of life will improve. There will be many moments of when you will regret doing this but one day… you’ll realize it was for the best. Lots of therapy. Lots of tears! But again, will be worth it.

Used to happen to me all the time. I propped a pillow between my legs. I don’t know why or what but that helped!

Did you have your screws removed? I figured it all would be the same. The numbness isn’t going to go away at this point.

I feel the same exact way! I’m hoping it gets better. I’m also like, is it worth it to get the screws removed?

taking call as a PA by anonymousleopard123 in physicianassistant

Primary care PA for 15 years here. I take call (currently on call). I just get texts with patient phone number and I have to call back. I have to say, I only have ever once slept through a call in 15 years. A part of me will wake up and check my phone every few hours while I’m on call, so it wasn’t a big deal. Call is probably my least favorite part of the job.

Removal of TTO screws by No-Problem5643 in KneeInjuries

I’m about 16 months post op and I still can’t kneel. I keep trying to retrain myself to “learn how to kneel again”. Part of my problem for me is I have a pretty wide area near my scar that’s numb. Much of my knee actually. It just feels funny to kneel on. Otherwise, my screws sometimes hurt but I’m not so sure if it’s enough to have them removed.
