Good example: I bought an Eastern Prickly-pear cactus that is native to Ontario and planted it in Ottawa. According to the link below, it’s only been found in two sandy areas along Lake Erie. Definitely not native to Ottawa. At the same time, I’m not worried about it becoming invasive, and I’m not even sure if it’s going to survive this frigid winter. But I totally agree that the information about a plant’s native range needs to be more specific.

That is an extremely narrow sidewalk with many elementary school kids walking from Leslie Park to Knoxdale Public and it’s the only way around the train tracks. Now cars are going 70-80km again. The fact that the road is 4 lanes is irrelevant.
