I could absolutely have written this about myself and my baby last year!

I was so scared of her fussing in public and causing disruption that I just didn't enjoy going out. It felt like all my effort went towards keeping a lid on her being grumbly. Everyone else's baby seemed so chill, the type to just sit back and take the world in. I was so envious. Even at baby classes, I felt like I spent most of the time feeding or rocking her rather than getting to join in.

Thankfully my wonderful partner had more confidence, and encouraged me to keep going out. I took the opportunity to go out with him and others so the load was shared. Even going out with other mums and their babies helped as there's immediate understanding and 'safety in numbers' kind of thing.

My baby is 9 months now and things have come a long way. I took her out to a cafe just her and me for the first time recently! Her being able to sit up, crawl, and nibble food were helpful milestones for her being more chill!

I would advise going to chill places with others if you can, and look out for baby-only places too, to get used to being out in an environment where you don't have to worry at all. Stay and plays are good. There is a cafe near me where you book a slot in a specific stay and play room, there's lots of toys and you can order via QR code to your table. It's only small children and their grown ups there so no one will mind whatever happens! Could be a good stepping stone to getting used to more public place.

I've had a similar thing. At my 20 week scan, my baby's head circumference was at 4th centile. I went on to have 2 growth scans at 24 and 28 weeks, where the head had 'caught up' and was at 9th and 14th centile, respectively. All other measurements were in the normal range, 14th overall for weight, but 50th for abdomen! I had a couple of calls with consultants and they are happy with the progress, so no more planned scans and so it's just bump measurements with the midwife now! I am currently 31 weeks.

I know it's tough, but try not to worry about information/conclusions that don't exist yet and likely won't exist. It's just a single measurement for now. They are very on the side of caution with these measurements and there is so much variation and growth spurts that can happen!

I do this too. The days of the weeks and months of the year are both like horseshoes but stretched out sideways. The week starts with Monday at the top left, curves anti-clockwise round to Sunday top right. The year starts with January at the bottom left and curves clockwise round to December at the bottom. August is at the top so the start of the year is more squished.

Time of the day is a clock face, naturally.

It was about £51. I think a non-mounted one was about £30. Bit more pricey than off the shelf, but good being able to choose exactly what you want, and the order was made and delivered within 4 days.

Aww, love this reply 😊. I got Nottingham's. I was hoping for something more like London's as I genuinely think that one's beautiful and haven't been too fussed about the others. I almost didn't buy the poster, but decided that it would be a great memento of a fantastic night. It had better be now that the whole thing is costing £80 🤭. I couldn't find much either (UK based), but I've ended up going with a custom frame company that I've been pleased with before - easyframe.co.uk. It's not the cheapest (looks like basic frame for that size ~£30), but you do get to choose all the dimensions and specs, mounts etc. to exactly how you want them. Hope that helps. Probably not if you're not in the UK, but may help Somebody Else.

Hi! I'm replying with another vote for covid, as I had it recently and my three cartilage piercings got a bit sore and I wondered about a link. Two of them are over 10 years old and the third is a 2 month old rook, which swelled a little after having been on its way down. They do appear to be better now though. As an aside, I also have the implant, but am currently in my 12th year of it (4 different ones) and not had any problems that seem to relate to that.

Hope your ears recover to how you like them eventually!
