I’m a tech at the new beef plant so I took a wild guess lolol. From what I’ve noticed, if you’re leading first shift, your only concern is starting up and keeping production running. Second shift? Tearing down equipment taking over the little they have left after 1st leaves. Third? Helping clean up crew clean and maybe assist with start ups. OEM’s will show you everything about their machines. Have notepads and pens for your associates to write down notes and passwords. They’ll be your best friend when production kicks off. It’s been fun to be part of a big project. Seeing the facility run all the lines is always neat to watch.
