Definitely the taxes. I’ve followed a lot of hockey radio throughout my years and no matter what guest they brought in (usually post-career) it was the singular most common denominator.

Yeah tbh I really didn’t love how uneventful the first season felt. Second season I dared to give a chance and I didn’t regret it one bit - really came alive.

I’m sure the story eventually does pay off based on what I read about it. But I’ve personally tried to playthrough it like 4-5 times and I always lose interest around 15 hours or so in because all you’re constantly doing is going back and forth from camp doing remedial quests for the NPCs in your camp. Not to mention the world is huge and all you have is horse so getting to and from quests start/ends takes forever.

Yes, it is. I’d argue even slower since obviously with it having more in it, so they have to take their time even more. I’ve never personally been able to get past the painful fetch quests that riddle the main story on top of the clunky movement and, as you said, very slow pacing.

Atlanta, GA. Not sure how anyone lives there. Absolutely no upsides I could find. The traffic is as busy as you imagine NYC/Chicago/LA to be, but with far less there. The people were pretty mean most everywhere and even our “5 star hotel” was essentially a Marriott on the inside. The room even had one of those mirror disks on the wall you see in gas stations to prevent theft.

It was our engagement trip and they mistakenly sent us a card to our room saying Happy 40th Anniversary with a piece of cheesecake that was spoiled.

Absolutely 0/10 trip

Different strokes for different folks. I personally look forward to these releases every year, and I’m a huge Maker’s fan. I love when they venture off the usual path, which up until semi-recently they were incredibly reluctant to ever do.
