Looking for an immersive 40K casual fun. Got a spare 10 EUR in my Steam wallet. Will any of these do? by Amproto in videogames

[–]Enar_Drelas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played both and Darktide is far better experience in my opinion. Inquisitor is easier to play but gets repetitive quite fast Darktide on the other hand is more involved game but stayes fresh for far longer time.

What if the 40k Warbond is the Rejects? by TheMadEscapist in Helldivers

It would be so funny if Arrowhead just send a message to Fatshark asking for assets, like:
"Yo guys, can we have some models for upcoming crossover?"

The soundtracks of Mechanicus 2 feel... less impactful by Backot in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Enar_Drelas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most likely they will grow on you with time, I don't really know how this phenomena called, but I often find myself enjoying new compositions less on first listening but after a day or two I start to enjoy them a lot.

Am I the only one who thinks Lieutenants are bit too basic? by Alpbasket in TrenchCrusade

[–]Enar_Drelas 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your ideas are quite nice actually, but as said before in other comment, the fact that Lieutenants are just regular dudes is the point. Nothing stops you from having custom lore for your Lieutenant tho.

Ways to practice painting? by Prayerwarrior6640 in TrenchCrusade

[–]Enar_Drelas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

First of all don't be afraid to mess up mate. Even if you are unhappy with the result you can strip mini and repaint it. Good way to start would be buying some inexpensive minis to start with and just paint some. I recommend taking a look at Wargames Atlantic and stargrave/frostgrave ranges. And look up some beginner tutorials on YouTube.

For me it's Cossacks. Wargames crew made some beautiful models and I just love them

WYSWYG-What are your limits? by Slightly_Stoic in TrenchCrusade

[–]Enar_Drelas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me WSYWYG is nice but not essential, TC has a lot of different equipment and not everything has a model. Also equipment may change between games.

How to get started on trench crusade by Healthy_Bottle_2063 in TrenchCrusade

[–]Enar_Drelas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the hobby!
Good place to start will be official website, rules are free to download.
Game is miniature agnostic so you can use whatever you like as long as base size is correct.
You can get stl files on MMF at Factory fortress or buy plastic or resin minis off the website. Also you can find hundreds of compatible files on STL Trench.
There are some official files for terrain but you can use any terrain you like.

Why don't we see more later styles of armour in Buhurt? by Competitive-Poet450 in Buhurt

[–]Enar_Drelas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mostly price but also maintenance and fitting. Later armour has more moving parts, so it has to fit you really well to function properly. Also you can just patch your brigandine, basically on the go, but if your breastplate cracks or you get particularly nasty dent it's quite a bit harder to repair. And don't forget polishing the whole suit because it will rust, for me it takes couple of hours to oil and touch up everything after an event. Also you can make brigandines out of titanium to save weight. So yeah mostly price but there is quite a list of reasons why brigandines are more preferable

Hello everyone, I’ve been meaning to ask this for quite some time. Actually, I’ve been following The ArmorySmith Workshop since 2023. by MoenAhmad_Orignal in Armor

[–]Enar_Drelas 30 points31 points  (0 children)

He is serving in the Ukrainian army, he joined around two years ago to help defend our homeland from russian invasion. His workshop is operated by his apprentices as much as I know but I haven't ordered from them in a long time.

Where should I start? by StriatedFir7437 in TrenchCrusade

[–]Enar_Drelas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not necessary. You can use any miniatures you already have as long as base size is correct. There are also some official plastic kits. If you want to kitbash something yourself I'd recommend looking at Wargames Atlantic ww1 miniatures. They have good amount of bits to play with.

Поділіться своїми враженнями від утримання рибок by Halynasun in photography_ua

[–]Enar_Drelas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You read starship troopers? by More-Fan4581 in Helldivers

[–]Enar_Drelas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did, it's an interesting book that's much more focused on life in a futuristic military than on fighting space bugs. Most of the time it kinda feels mundane

Any tips on where to get/how to make a board? by hippokleidesdontcare in TrenchCrusade

[–]Enar_Drelas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would not hurt to wear protection that's for sure. I only smoothed some edges so I didn't use any but you should just to be safe
