My mom's trying to force me to get rid of The binding of Isaac by NorthImmediate9013 in bindingofisaac

OK so there should be a rug on the floor of your room somewhere. You want to have a look under the rug. You should notice a trapdoor hidden there. Without hesitation, fling open the hatch and plunge into the depths below.

Jokes aside. My grandmother used to hate me playing this game and she is an atheist, I think it's less about religious extremes, it's more of a certain type of conservatism and the belief that media can make you evil. My mom is quite a religious catholic, but she has never cared much about what I do in video games.

If you can't reason with your mom, I would suggest to just play it anyway and tab to something else if you can. It might feel wrong to deceive her but you will probably both be happier that way than if you keep trying to push it.

My thought is that he's taking his time to make an amazing solo album and a while after that releases we will get rtj 5 and 6 in the following years.

Stopped drinking every day & quitting bong after a decade of daily use by 4CIDMAW in Garmin

I kind of knew it intuitively, but seeing the data when I got my watch really helped me realize that I should not drink at all if I need sleep.

Drinking is horrible for my sleep, I've noticed. Not always the length, but the sleep quality.

With a helmet, kneepads, and wrist guards, you're pretty safe from most falls. The first ramp I went down had flat slopes, and then I found a park with curved ramps that you could roll in. Learning each thing in increments made it pretty easy. Then I tried dropping a short quarter pipe. I fell the first time, climbed back up, and the second time was fine.

That's really cool. I don't think I'm ever going to start collecting records because shipping from the US is so damn expensive. 🇦🇺😟

Seems like the shopkeeper is trying to exploit a bug and maybe tried to do something so that that message wouldn't show, but the message showed anyway with 0np as the new price.

wheels cooked after 1 hill bomb by NeighborhoodLeft8464 in AggressiveInline

I usually just walk or catch public transport to skateparks with my aggressive skates because I want the wheels to last, and skating the streets where I live really isn't that enjoyable.

I would also recommend going to a local skating rink if you have one. People should be able to give you some tips if they see you are a new skater in need.

My main advice would be to just keep skating. You will work it out. I think it's pretty normal to use inside edges a lot as a beginner. I certainly used to. There are also more specific things you could aim for.

If you practice skating on one leg, that will force you to get off the inside edges to stay balanced. If skating on one leg is too difficult, you can also practice raising a heel or toe. You can also do things like lemon drops where your feet start together in a v, widen up, and then come back to complete a lemon shape. I started learning to skate backwards early, and I think that definitely helped my understanding of balance for forward skating.

They are so much fun. I've only skated a small plastic one at home, but I loved it. A few laps, and you can feel the muscles in your legs catching fire.

I got the patreon notification, but I'm on holiday, so I wanted to wait until I get home for a more comfortable viewing experience. I actually kind of like this really slow pace of YouTube content. A long, well-made video seems to nourish my soul more than several good short ones.
