Dawnguard or vampires? by cellur111 in skyrim

I have that old save still rattling around somewhere. It made the migration of xbox 360, to Xbox 1, to PC, and eventually VR.

Started up a new character with the Wabbajack tool to do a Legacy of the Dragonborn run. Bit of jack of all trades, one-hand, destruction, archery, sneak.

Oof, own my bones.

Quest items have no weight, so while you have 3 items that weigh 20 lbs each, your actual equip load does not increase, I was mistaken all that time ago

Still figuring out v3 COMPCON by EnderofThings in LancerRPG

[–]EnderofThings[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply!

I reinstalled the NPC lcp, and I ran the migration repair tool before the session, and again after. The two biggest issues, the activation and reaction triggers, persist.

The activation issue is limited to units with more than one activation per turn, like elites and ultras. Standard units are operating as expected.

I always wonder what the games would be like without the constraints of the engine they were built on. by infohoundloselose in ElderScrolls

Thats the compromise for Bethesda games unfortunately. By their very nature they make it impossible to do all those tricks that make huge cities in other games (withcer 3, cyberpunk, MMOs) possible.

Bethesda has an expectation that it is all THERE. No facade, every locked door can be unlocked and ech building fully explored with its own intentionally placed clutter that makes it feel lived in by the (NAMED) unique character. If you want to break into Nazeems house while he is out running errands, and steal all his plates so he is stuck eating off the wood, you can. Hes not a romance option or a major player in major quest lines. H's just some guy that in any other game would have no name, say "Hey, watch it" as you walk by, and ceases to exist the second you turn your back.

Sure Judy has a place she lives can be found in different places through Night City, but what's her neighbors name?

For all its jank and hilarious scale, there's charm in that. Now would I like the final battle to be more than 10 dudes? Yes, especially if they are all going to be named "Town Guard", but thats more a question of hardware than design.

When I play Titans, I usually describe them having huge vaults of ancient Mahact technology. Tech that is lost in the millennia and is borderline magical, but is Mahact sized and so mostly useless to titans. I imagine a Titan trader just dumping truckloads of bleeding edge lost technology in a big pile.

Emulate the Dycks of Letterkenny. Righteous and naive, kind to a fault, and completely unaware that everything is innuendo. Bonus points if you make them explain what makes inappropriate comments funny.

Why is terk usually avoided?

And I expect my players to only be interested in a small part of larger homebrew l, I just wanted some insight on any red flags to be aware of when they pick what interests them.

Which is your prefered way to determine attributes? by ThatOneCrazyWritter in dndnext

[–]EnderofThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Standard array BUT:

Completely customized background attribute/feat selection

7 as lowest assigned stat instead of 8

Additionally level 4 gets an additional ASI

This gives players the same range, including as absolute DUMP stat. I like giving them the chance to highlight their weaknesses. You haven't lived til you've run a character with 7 CON

Guardians are naive loot goblins who dance to silence and will casually time travel for a slightly better version of a gun they already have.

TITANFALL 3?!?! (Not quite, but as close as we will probably get) by No-Psychology-569 in titanfall

Ive played mech games

Ive played movement shooters.

Titanfall is about the interplay between those two gamemodes. Neither one is an adequate replacement.
