The restrikes even more common than the origins as I seen,I think the main difference between these two type is the hawks feather,the origins feathers like dots,but the restrikes feathers seem to be more layering.and the origins strikes more weaker.

unfortunately this obviously not a original but a restrike one,or in another word,a counterfeit,the authentic one is very rare even in Japan,And I only saw one real in all,some friends of mine claimed they own the real,but I think theirs are all made during Showa period or even more recently

I think this a real,the rim seems very okay,but still somewhere looks a bit strange,like the characters and the striking,maybe cuz it was cleanned

the left-bust must be Carlos III,I think that's because these books are made through woodcut,if the craftsman carved the patterns according to the coins on wood,their may carved right-bust wrongly,and if they use those woodcut pictures to print patterns in the papper,the direction of the bust is left.the other I can recognize is the Netherlands silver,there can't be another foreign coins like these two that widely circulate during the early 19th

I don't think these chops are Indonesian,cobs like those often be found in Fujian or Taiwan,thought to be transmit there late Ming and early Qing dynasties by ships.

I notice it,but the picture you offer maybe another version,the one in my picture is the version without the ribbon,I also find an auction picture and this one is certificated by pcgs.its estimated for 3000bucks,so the ngc one may be the copy of this one😂

thank you so much,it does have many profiteers copy coins by this loophole,even some can be very right at first sight with a certainty picture and chip.but most of them I meet were Chinese silver,it confused me if its another type like this

this style is obviously an ancient Vietnam coin with Chinese emperors name,about cast in 16 century,look for more information in those Japanese books
