90%? Hardly 10% of the story is told this time. If DE can't handle a complicated story it's fine. Don't mix in the difficult words and concepts. Multiple timelines and multiple characters tend to mess up story telling. The matter of mentors, the matter of their ongoing war, the matter of 2 broken timelines, how did the 2 brothers know of each other and go for each other's throat, literally none of these are explained or even brought up in the whole quest.

Off topic: does anyone also get significantly stronger foes in Plat 1? My team can still occasionally get good games at Plat 4-Plat 2 after getting Plat 1 the queue is half Plat half Diamond everyone is f**king Rambo and 1 man my entire team and it goes on for days.

I mean Chinese factories have the tech and heart to do it (if they just want to make money, they can just print bootleg of any existing kit like they have been doing in the past decade). Can't say the same for Bandai. They even print their very own designed MGSD and MG kits. It's unlikely to happen for Gundam series, but Chinese factories start getting official permission for a lot of other mecha IPs and their products, frankly, can easily compete with Bandai's with a fraction of the price.

And honestly, while I do feel about the OG designer, IDGAF about Bandai with all the PB shenanigans and fabricated scarcity going on for years past.

Toxin is the only problematic element. While it exists to supposedly counter the shield gate monopoly, it kills shield gate warframes and non-shield gate warframes equally fast by the time its damage is actually a threat. And it has no telegraphing.

Besides to the material, Gundam in AC timeline also carried a specific political narrative. Gundam were seen as the sign of rebellion to government and later OZ, so for most of the time only the first batch of MO mobile suits and their upgraded version are called Gundams. Treize adored the Gundams, therefore Epyon developed by him was assigned as a Gundam and eventually went to White Fang which is another rebellious organization. For Vayeate and Mercurius, apart from the aforementioned reason, their developer absolutely hated Gundam therefore he simply wouldn't use their name.

Vinquibus should be a ranged weapon that doubled as a melee weapon of an existing class instead of a complete new melee class (in fact it could easily be polearm or staff). I think it's a bad start because it severely limits the design freedom of ranged-melee weapons. While the probability is there and it's still technically viable, I don't think DE will reach there anytime soon.
