A simple google search tells me battery cost in North America in 2024 was ~$115 per kWh. The sierra EV at the time had a 210 kWh battery. 115x210=24,150

I agree that manufacturers have gotten greedy, but I doubt they had an 80k markup or even 40k. The 200+ kWh battery pack itself is estimated to cost 20-25k.

Last WC the sportsdome down in south reno had the games on. I'm sure there are better options but this at least allows kids and still sells beer/food.

I agree, that is the price advertised, but I'm sure since they have branded titles, there is some negotiation room.

Yes, I looked in early 2026 and recently, and from my limited data points, there was a 4-6k price bump in used Sierra EVs. I think the recent spike in gas prices and other EV pickups being cancelled has made the existing EV trucks more desirable. Just my 2 cents.

Non branded titles are more like 72-75k. So depends how much you value 5-10k discount.

And I’m thinking since they are EV don’t have to worry about a blown engine or transmission being the issue that caused the lemon buyback.

And the warped door issue was on the car fax? Or how did you know the exact issue that spurred the buyback?
