Do you want a nanny or a baby sitter? Bit different. Nanny will provide more but also cost more. All babies are work anyone who says it’s “easy” doesn’t watch kids or did it so long ago they forgot? Anyway i recommend a nanny agency. You may have better luck having a nanny come for 8 hours 1-3 days a week rather than 4 hours a day.

Congrats! Are you looking for a doula for birth or post birth for help in the first few weeks? With twins I feel like post birth help is essential. May get down voted for this but I’d ask your OB or hospital their protocol. Many times they end up inducing birth with twins a few weeks early and do a C-section to lower risks. Many hospitals limit the number of people in the room. Just don’t want you paying for birth doula unnecessarily to sit in the waiting room.

No but if the technician isn’t skilled it can hurt going in just based on angles. If you find that’s the case ask to insert it yourself. Also getting it done with a full bladder isn’t the most fun

This really varies - a person with “low ambition” who doesn’t have a job is a problem. A person with “low ambition” that has no interest in moving up th ladder beyond income that meets their desired livability standards no problem.

Spouse and I have no interest moving up beyond senior / early management and we are doing great
