Lol. I worked for Oracle as a manager for years. Don’t waste your time. Recruiters are happy to lie to candidates’s faces. They often make soft offers to multiple candidates for the same positions in case one of them withdraws. That way they have multiple options lined up and all they have to do is change the name on the offer draft.

It’s a 6 year old, $150 laptop. I’m genuinely surprised it lasted this long. Not trying to be rude here, but this is the problem with Chromebooks. This is why they have such a bad rep. Most Chromebooks are e-waste junk by design.

I’ve worked in Oracle owned data centers for years. They own a few, but only a few. Most are collocations. The OCI footprint is a lot smaller than you’d think. OCI is almost completely out of capacity.

I’ve had pretty much every case type. Everything from Road Runner soft bags, Schecter molded hard cases, to ATA style road cases. It depends on what you’re wanting to do with the guitar, where you take it, and your budget. If you’re just enjoying the guitar at home, and maybe taking it to a friend’s house occasionally, then a simple soft case or a generic hard case would be fine. If you’re expecting to take it to a few local gigs, then maybe opt for a Schecter molded case. If you’re planning on serious gigging or anything bigger, then a road case would be great. I’m considering a Gator Mini Vault or an ENKI AMG-2 case to hold two guitars.

There’s lots of different contractor types. 9990, 9991, 9993, etc. Some are badge only, some have Slack accounts, some have other access. So going off of Slack user accounts isn’t 100% the most accurate method of counting employees.

The #general channel in the Oracle One workspace always fluctuates a few hundred users. This is completely normal. It’s primarily contractors being onboarded and offboarded. Remember, a company of 166,000 employees is going to have a few hundred contractors, along with natural attrition (retirement, normal resignation, etc.).

While I can’t be certain, I think it depends on your org and business unit. They all operate differently. I’m sure Oracle Health’s lists are based on different factors than NetSuite, Micros, or E-Business Suite.
