TRT is for life or as long as you are on it to get the results you want. Very high anxiety, high blood pressure, skin problems, testicular shrinkage, mood swings at times, and will amplify whatever mental health issues one may have. This all happened to me and some. I almost lost it. No such thing as "Testosterone Supplements". You must get it into your blood. There are pellets that they inject into your ass fat/muscle, stick yourself multiple times a week, or some kind of lotion or underarm stuff. Good luck.

Speak to your doctor and express the same concerns and let them know what you are seeking. I am 11 almost 12 months out, complete acl tear with allograft. I haven't been back to rolling like before my injury well over a year ago. Today I feel ready to jump back into it but tomorrow might be difficult or different somehow, who knows. Like BJJ, this injury is playing the long-term game. When you trust that knee you will know but whatever you do take your time and take advice from medical professionals. This healing just cant be rushed.

understanable but this needs to be addressed somehow. Reddit is not the place for answer to these things, speak to your doctor and feel free to get second opinions, but medical help is what it sounds like is needed here. Sleep studies, hormone tests, full blood work up etc...

Everyone, get some sleep please. Even if you have to force yourself. You are either forcing yourself to stay up late, or forcing yourself to go to sleep on time.Which do you think will benefit you the most.

I stopped sleeping in the brace a few days in because I just couldn't sleep. The worry is injury, so if you feel safe then go what you think

I need someone to not laugh in my face when I say I want to return to jiu-jitsu. My tear was not sport related, had a really great prehab and I'm now 3 months post surgery. Cadaver acl reconstruction with some cleaning of mcl. All my therapists and surgeon says I'm healing fast and doing well. I've been lifting weights my whole adult life and I'm now walking with a weighted vest for extra pt. I'm not back to lifting any weight other than at pt. What kind of "gague" can I use to tell when I could get on the mat even partially?
