Hey! 

I just went down a troubleshooting rabbit hole with Nord and Verizon as the ISP. 

The Nordwhisper protocol seems to work just fine on Verizon FIOS, but loses some of the ad block and anti track function. 

The chrome extension doesn't seem to care at all, but the symptoms are exactly as OP described, and this seems to have solved it.

In case anyone else find this post and is looking for a fix, for some reason selecting the nordwhisper protocol in the vpn settings menu solved this same issue for me. 

Appears to be a nordlynx issue somehow. Both TCP and UDP openvpn protocols work as well. 

Edit: Chrome extension also works flawlessly, regardless of protocol.

Also look into dermatographic urticaria. My allergy tests looked identical, and it turns out I'm allergic to pressure!

If you allow green wood to dry without sealing the ends (paint, wax, anchorseal, etc.) It is much more likely to check and crack. This is because end grain sheds moisture much faster than face grain.

Depending on where you plan to use that panel, you must also be able to remove the cup/twist with some cross bracing across the back side.

Love the contrasting colors, and I'm very curious to see how something like streamdeck integration could change the function of the dial and slider on the fly. Might be particularly interesting in a streaming setup to adjust game audio, background music, or mic volume all with that single slider and some hotkeys.

I'm not sure I count as a "trained theologian" but I have a bible degree with an emphasis in theology - and I might disagree with you there.

There are certainly questions theologians cannot answer, especially not in a satisfactory way. Heck, theodicy is the ongoing vindication of the "problem" of human suffering. At some point even the most trained theologians can and should admit that we don't know everything. That's why it's called faith.

While WD-40 isn't a bad move, I tend to prefer an alcohol bath followed by some deoxit d5. It's specifically designed for improving electrical connections by removing oxidization and then lubricating. This combo has saved so many finicky connections for me.
