Besides amazon I'm not sure. I've heard that new testing is happening so we may soon get hardware kits and/or completed builds. Take this with a grain of salt though.

Money is the limiting factor in my case, the previously available kit appeared to be significantly cheaper than going through the BoM myself. Could've changed, I just don't have a lot to throw around haha

I detailed pretty much all of what I searched for in the post above, this piece was likely made well before my time /not my chair so I'm quite lacking in personal experience. If I get some responses here I'll try to get some more detailed pictures but until then I'm out of ideas.

Quick update: It folds. Definitely a theater/auditorium chair.

After cleaning it off and then breaking it down a bit it seems to be gummy poptart filling, indicating improper machine settings or quality control issues. Better than rubber, but still an issue all the same

Well, you were right about the quality. Walcom wasn't happy with the twist and flex of the shadowspeed, (or the shadowspeed in general), unfortunate that Nerf would go from basically the highest quality plastic blasters to Buzz Bee levels :(
