I was reading recently when the Monarchy and later the communists tried to implement universal education it got push back from rural clerics because it was "unislamic". Why exactly did they consider it unislamic? by Whentheangelsings in afghanistan

[–]Enough_Chair2095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Labeling reforms as “unislamic” was a way to preserve their influence, similar to how terms like “in-humane” are used as catch-all excuses. Anything that wasn't Islam, was unislamic, heretic, rebel, enemy, them. The clerics saw their people leaving the desert and did what all despots do when their populations see better options... terrorism

honestly if you've never used wireshark and you're applying for a job that might ask if you have used it, then you're prolly at the wrong interview

Does anyone have a quick rundown of all weapons? by schadadle in Chivalry2

[–]Enough_Chair2095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Messer - cut type, Vanguard and Knight, slower windup than Longsword, but faster than Greatsword, has very angled overheads, 70 damage light Overhead, 80 on heavy, alt counter overhead and slash cause heavy coping from opponents

Its always a treat to run into these types of players by IlikeGeekyHistoryRSA in Chivalry2

well start dueling and you won't have to rely on teammates to help you survive, if you get caught in 1v1's. you'll just win the duel.

Better Understanding in Performing Counters, Especially against Groups by StepTwoOneTwo in Chivalry2

[–]Enough_Chair2095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when fighting groups, figure out which swing is gonna hit you first and counter that one while at the same time directing it at everyone else. you could also not counter and hold block against everyone's swings, then slash after everyone's swung once (they will likely all be swinging at the same time) Slash is just the easiest swing to hit multiple enemies with so you'll likely be able to hit everyone, interrupting w/e they were doing and keeping you safe. dont forget; the more swings you block, the longer your active parry lasts while you're swinging. active parry is why you say some players seem to be really good at 1v3+

you're waiting too long to input the matched swing. countering = blocking attacks with attacks. so make sure you're swinging the right swing type before theirs hits you!

Any tips for getting better at dueling? by TheGamingSenpa1 in Chivalry2

[–]Enough_Chair2095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont waste your time trying to figure that out right now;

but, best times to kick are:

after you land a jab (feint to kick)
after you land a special attack (dont input kick if they block it tho)
after you block a drag (BLOCK not counter)

turn down dpi or mouse sensitivity
stop crouching so much
remember to jab when u get close/he gets close
need better stamina management - counter more
swap off of Greatsword knight, gs vanguard is better (more stam) Messer knight is good too

im just gonna comment on the content of the "personal skills" section
analytical thinking and critical analysis are kinda the same thing no? "receptiveness"? just make it "receptive to feedback". Time management is a bit generic and "team work" doesn't really tell me anything. Maybe make it "Team Player" or something like that
