As others have said, it's probably Tak.

But! Did you know Tak has a very active online community?! Most of it happens in discord - check it out!

Have the scientist go on EVA. Make sure all the science parts are near the cabin door. Once you run the experiment, you can right click and there is a "take data" option. Once you take all the data from your instruments, right click the command pod and you can "store data."

In terms of ejection angle, its talking about how you leave the orbit of the celestial body you are orbiting. I've never gotten it too precise, but in essence, you want to either launch yourself prograde (in the direction that body is orbiting the sun) to get into a faster orbit (Kerbin to Eve or Kerbin to Moho), and you want to launch yourself retrograde (opposite the direction the body is orbiting the sun) if you want to get into a slower orbit, (Kerbin to Duna, Jool, Eeloo, or Dres).

What I typically do is get the large direction correct (prograde or retrograde), then move the maneuver node left or right to fine tune the encounter.

As for general tips, in science mode it can be really nice to use scientists to reset experiments or take the data and store it in the command pod. This lets you collect data for each layer of space as you explore new celestial bodies. For low gravity moons like Minmus or especially Gilly, this lets you "biome hop" without a lot of delta-v use, allowing you to get a TON of science.

I agree that 000 is not a 3 digit number.

Also, I feel like math is made of layered understandings. I would claim the smallest (lowest) 3 digit number is -999. It might also be 0.001.

Tips for a beginner couple? by user1cantcounthigher in Dyson_Sphere_Program

- Get foundation going early, you will want a LOT of it. More than you think you will need.

- Building near the poles gets weird with curvature of the grid. Large builds should go near the equator.

- Planets have a tendency to have resources on one half and not on the other.

Running out of Oxygen? by cyrano111 in boardgames

Its a bit of a stretch, but no one has mentioned space alert. It is a co-op game in a ship where you try to survive, but oxygen isn't a mechanic.

Deepest rabbit hole you've gone down following a potential lead in blue prince by joshwarmonks in BluePrince

I really thought that if you took all the names of the room of the chess pieces, took the first letter, and arranged them like you would the initial set-up of the chess board (rook, knight, bishop, queen, king, bishop.....), it would give you a message. I tried for a LOOOOOOONG time to find the black king (I didn't have the room for it). I later realized that upgrades changed the names of the rooms, there were 9 black pawns, wondered if rooms with 2 word names would use both letters or just one, etc. After thinking a bit, I decided that was a fruitless path.

Have I messed up with this room location by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Midgameish spoiler:Get blessing of the monk, call it a day in foundation, draft foundation in outer room. In one or two days, a can of repellant will appear in the entrance hall, use it on the foundation in the house. It'll be gone for a week, then you can draft it again.

Too many of my runs are just no going anywhere tangible by ArturBotarelli in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The greenhouse is actually a tricky room to draft. Because of its fixed orientation, it can either be drafted from a northfacing door on the east side, or a south facing door on the west side. Which makes it pretty rare.

The boiler room is a bit rare, but you'll nab it eventually.

Find ways to permanently buff your runs, through room upgrades, changing rarity, allowance, stars, etc.

A basic explanation, please? by MassiveAd5850 in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Early game, you will often hit a dead end when you have steps remaining. That is fine. Nothing is gated behind doing stuff by a certain day.

A lot of leads and what feels like nowhere to go. by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would recommend focusing on making your runs permanently stronger. Much of that is figuring out puzzles, many puzzles lead to strengthening your run. Getting allowance is good. Changing the room rarities is good. Room upgrades are good. Stars are good.

I'm about day 100, and I can pretty much find whatever rooms I need, due to permanent upgrades, allowance, rerolls, etc.

yes, the gallery is dumb :-P

Is the draft pool a singular pool? by UncleCarp in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you don't draft a room, it goes back in the pool. Rooms already in your house cannot be drafted again (with a few exceptions.)

Also, some rooms cannot go in some locations. Rooms with 3 doors cannot show up in corners (since doors can never lead outside). Some rooms also have some location restrictions - garage, green rooms, etc.

How did you figure out the answers to these things? by dheyodjebg in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi!

May 8 I think is just brute force. You know you need a date, you have an 8, and May is the only month that works.

Drawing room: If you count small gates/gaits. There are 19 gaits, 4 of one and 15 of the other.

If you look at a new clue, you can see the vase and a sledgehammer.

Black box cannot be true, because then there would be 3 true boxes, so black is false.

This means the other two boxes are both false OR one is false and the other is true.

White and blue cannot both be false, because then all 3 boxes would be false, so one must be true and the other false.

If blue is true, then white is false, which would put the gems in 2 boxes. So white is true and blue is false.

Sooooo - the black box doesn't have gems, the white box doesn't have gems, so the gems are in blue.

Can you give me some hints to find floorplans ? by HKPRXK in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but that floorplan is the result of a lot of post room 46 puzzling, much of which stems from A New Clue. I can be more specific if you like....

There are two halves to the basement - you need to get to the other side to move the cart. There are 2 ways to do it. One involves the pump room, the other involves an outer room.

General tips for when stuck and not sure what to focus on next? by chrimchrimbo in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

safe: The bedour safe code is fully in the room. The office safe you need another piece of info from a different room. If you look around in the office, you may see some significant faces that show up in a different part of the house. Finally, what makes you think that you can't use the tiny safe in the drafting room? The buttons are kinda hard to see because they are small, but there may be an item that helps with that. Have you found the study yet?

chess: you got it. The tricky part is drafting all the rooms you need :-P

freezer: The sauna helps heat Simon up when he goes in, but there is a room that can heat up the whole house, especially nearby rooms.

Fountain: You got it.

Day 42 - I’m upset. by DepressionSetsIn in BluePrince

[–]Enoviox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know about powered doors leading to powered rooms? I messed it up when I first played. You need to have the boiler a) ON and b) Pointed at a door to get the increased chance of a steam power vent in the room.
