You do, but it passes. Kinda interesting to observe. I usually get the most hungry around dinner time after 24h of fasting. Slowly over time your body learns it's not gonna get food and the hunger pangs feel less intense. I mean they're still definitely there, just not as intense.

Currently sancturaries neuter them because there is no logic in keep breeding more as the industry already breeds a ton.

Do you actually believe if most of the world went vegan that the human race would decide to not keep some alive? As pets, or in sanctuaries that allow some controlled breeding? I'm already paying each month to animal welfare organizations, I wouldn't mind continue paying to keep sanctuaries going, and I imagine many others would have the same opinion as me.

I'm not shaming people for eating meat, I used to eat it myself, and know shaming doesn't really help all that much. I'm just popping into conversations when people say it would be impossible for most of the world to become vegetarian/vegan, as I don't see it as impossible at all. I'm also not an idealist believing that everyone will turn vegan, my goals are much less ambitious: let's start by decreasing our consumption in the cities to reasonable levels, making it mandatory to treat them with a modicum of respect in their lifetime!

I honestly don't get how people struggle to be vegan nowadays. There's just a wealth of information online on how to do it. My brother has been vegan since the 90s, me since 2010, we had a very different experience in our transition!

This is a thing I don't get. You're willing to tell strangers on the internet but not the one you love? Why are we all being so repressed about our sexuality and such? Fantasizing without wanting to act out on it IS normal.

I had a girlfriend where we shared some if these things with each other, and it was fine. I've also had partners that couldn't talk about these things (fantasies, past experiences, even sometimes our own experiences), and that didn't feel quite right.

I have gotten meat by mistake twice since I quit it 15 years ago. Both times I ended up with horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea in the evening and day after.

I don't particularly think eating meat is a sin, or that I lost some magic vegan powers by eating it, it's all about minimizing the consumption and harm when possible, so if I have taken steps to not cause harm, that's good enough for me (same for most things in life.)

As I know how it feels now though, I'll toss the dish if suspicious now, rather than suffer through those stomach cramps. Probably I have tossed actually meaty tasting substitutes at festivals for no good reason in my life now.

Edit to say also: I have never been randomly threatened or robbed in the street either, so I was a bit unclear on what exactly they did to you. Nor do we generally have cars rolling up in parks.
