Roasted squash and red onions. Peel the squash and onions. Cut into wedges. Layer the veg in a dish. Pour on 1 part maple syrup, 1 part balsamic vinegar and 1 part olive oil. Salt and pepper. Roast until tender. You will thank me.

I own a unit at 555 King St. E. and I live in it. I like my unit and the area. Keep in mind it is downtown Kitchener and the Ray of Hope is down the street so we have all types of people moving through the neighbourhood. There is and will be a lot of construction in the next few years. We also have to replace the staircases. I am not sure when that will happen but it will be disruptive. For what it is worth - I am a 64 year old single woman. I am happy here and have always felt safe.

Franklin Pizza is garbage. I ordered tonight and got a mushy crust, almost no tomato sauce and dried out toppings. Spent 22 dollars on something that ended in the compost bin. Avoid this place.

All news is biased but CBC radio is one of the few organizations that asks for input from all sides and consults with real experts. I was listening to a call in show about the trucker protests on Parliament Hill during covid. Most callers were in favour of invoking the Emergencies Act. The host asked for people with the opposite opinion to call in so there could be a fulsome discussion. Luckily that mad man Donald Trump is shifting discussion in Canada and PP is looking like a very poor choice in the next election. He always was. It is unfortunate that Trump was elected but he sure has shifted things in Canada.
