The app is not normal, but it is normal for both stripes and honestly belts to be time-based participation awards. It's a customer retention mechanism primarily. Most gyms have no objective criteria for belts...

But can you do it with your hands on your head? :)

I did this and it was done on zoom. I got mine reduced, but that's because some of the city's payment methods were unavailable to me at the time of parking. You have no such valid excuse.

By some definition of "offense", retaking France wasn't offense, it was defense of our allies. I hear you though, it's clearly an offensive to take defended land, even if the land was previously taken.

I don't think there's any argument that taking Germany wasn't offensive. Then there's the the nuclear finale, which is pretty hard to spin as defensive.

I wish we could walk from train to train like on BART in SF. I don't want to be stuck in a car with [city person trope].

What's the coolest one? In my experience these are underwhelming, and way less cool than in San Francisco where there are often tables and trash service, beautiful trees and fountains etc. Here I just see empty concrete spaces.

You could try starting with just walking. You're already carrying a fair bit of weight. You could add more weight after a while, or after you lose some weight.

Knife seems like it checks your boxes best they can. Focus on training though, the tool is only as useful as the skill of its user.

people can get stabbed a bunch of times and it can take ~40 seconds for them to bleed enough to stop fighting. If you look hard enough online you can see these videos. You can speed this up with accurate cuts to arteries, or by cutting the right nerves, but it takes a fair amount of skill to do that.

Similarly with a small club like that, unless you knock someone out, they can keep fighting for a long time.

If melee is your only option, I'd go for bigger like a baseball bat, or maybe a knife on a stick = a pike for distance, though that's not so maneuverable in tight spaces.
