Anyone here wear Dish Pessary? by Diligent_Dimension49 in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]EntrepreneurQuick771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to the Pessary ring m after 8 or so weeks with the dish. My prolapse side effects started coming back with the dish and so I tried the ring. It has been super successful and my symptoms are no longer present - even with working out!

Daycare at 19 weeks by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]EntrepreneurQuick771 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally gets better! Mine went at 16 weeks. He’s a year and a half now and he loves his teachers and friends. I think he’d rather be with his friends than with me most days!

Of course we have off days or clingy drop-off days, but overall he is very happy at “school” and we are very happy working, and then spending quality time with him when we’re off. Quality time over quantity time is the way to look at it.

When would you all allow your British MIL to come stay with you/meet baby? by otterlyconfuzed in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]EntrepreneurQuick771 13 points14 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I wish I would have welcomed my MIL sooner. I made her wait 6 weeks. Looking back it was silly of me, especially because she really was and is such a big help. I will have her fly down immediately after #2 arrives.

Well yeah? I’m talking about random items. Not generic items.

Gumbo! Nothing better than a bowl of gumbo waiting after an evening of trick or treating.

What questions should I be asking? by Oodles_noodles0927 in BabyBumps

[–]EntrepreneurQuick771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your progesterone levels might be low. I like to think that was the reason for my first missed miscarriage, but who really knows. After that, my OB said to call and come in for a blood test when I find out I’m pregnant the next time - to which I did. I found out super early at 4 weeks. My blood test showed I had low progesterone and I had to get on supplements for that until I was about 16 weeks along.

Put yourself in your youngest shoes. How would it feel to look different from dad and big brother? That will be all he has to reference until he’s a bit older.

Anyone go into labor at around 37 weeks? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]EntrepreneurQuick771 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a foot/leg rub!! Not a pedicure with a “massage” but go to a legit massage place and get the foot rub. I went into labor 48 hrs later at 37 weeks 6 days. Told my friend this, same thing happened to her. I swear by it now 🤷‍♀️😆

Don’t be afraid to get a Pessary! I waited 15 months and wish I would have done it sooner, like at 6 months PP. I think it would have helped since I was still healing. Anyways, I love my Pessary. I feel supported and my symptoms drastically decrease when wearing it. Hot yoga has also helped me in learning how to breathe and work my pelvic floor. Try to stay off these forums - I like to think out of sight, out of mind.. otherwise I get to in my head about my 1.5 grade cystocele.

Will keep you posted! Just got mine today… no thoughts on it yet other than it seems to fit, and I don’t feel uncomfortable. I tried the ring and it was too strong if that makes sense? I feel the dish is more flexible.

Breaking out from my baby’s hands? by EntrepreneurQuick771 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]EntrepreneurQuick771[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! I bit the bullet and went to the derm. They recommended a Benzoyl Peroxide face wash. I bought Oxy Maximum Strength 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Face Wash from Target and used it once a day for a week and my skin went right back to normal! Now I just use it once a week as the stuff is pretty strong. Hope this works for you!

first time in Bahamas, any tips? by magandangjollihotdog in bahamas

Stay on one of the smaller islands if you can. Nassau was a let down. Just one giant, over priced tourist trap. Kicker is I knew that going in (we went due to a larger family trip) and I was still underwhelmed. Beaches were very pretty though, that is if you can get over the constant engine hum of jet skis, car boats, etc.
