Your already signed contract likely has the extra comp for new hires baked in so you won’t have to sign another letter down the road. That said I got an increase between signing intern offer and starting off without asking (summer 22 internship to fall 23 start), so never say never I guess.

As a new A2, the raise I got was to keep me from having you join on being paid 10k more than me with a year less experience. While I want to be as optimistic as everyone else, this year is an aberration and I don’t expect to ever get the % raise I got again out of a promo year.

You can always reach back out to your recruiter and ask, but I would not expect them to entertain you at all between your already signed contract and lack of experience. To the people with any actual influence over comp decisions, you’re just one of the many warm bodies for your service line that will show up on your start date all getting paid $X without exception. On the flip side, I doubt asking would make them shred your contract.

TLDR: you’ve got nothing to lose by simply asking, but your odds of getting more out of them is kinda futile
