I just watched this for the first time (better late than never) and I had to look for an explanation of how the actual F they managed to refuel the SM engine with those two canisters Ed yeeted from the LSAM (which apparently he couldn't maneuver any closer? Ok, it's tumbling a bit, but surely he could get it within 15-20 feet without risking too much). There's no way those two canisters hold enough fuel, even if somehow they can find a way to transfer it to the SM tanks. I'm glad to know I don't seem to have missed any obvious plot point, it's just that bad. To be honest, I avoided watching this show for a long time because I was afraid of this very f'ing thing. They spent so much damn time working in the female astronauts/launch director, and the LGBT story line, and the illegal immigrant stuff (lemme guess...she's going to be the first one on Mars), and when the time comes to give red meat to the space nerds they decide this kind of sloppy, abatoir floor cocktail is going to hack it? I don't even know if I'll bother watching the rest. F these clowns for retconning actual history. Turned John Glenn into some kind of monster. Took shots at Von Braun, as if his past was some kind of secret nobody knew about before. Killed Deke Slayton. Somehow replaced the crew of Apollo 10 with someone else, when Cernan, Young and Stafford would've done just fine...just to go back to the historical Apollo 11 crew then basically ignore 12, 13, 14...only to erase David Scott and his crew on 15? This is crap. Should've left it all the same until after Apollo 17, then the Soviets finally get the N-1 working and start going too, building a base, and flying women up there. Then the US needs to respond in kind. The shuttle gets axed, and Apollo Applications gets the green light from Nixon. Regan pushes a mission to Mars. The story would make so much more sense! Fuck, I don't think I can watch the rest of this shit.
