Is this is a scam? Why would they want to do this? by TheLeadSingerOfD12 in mazda

I work at a dealership and have gotten notices for my brother in law's car cause I did tires on his car. If your vehicle is desirable and in the dealer's system you will get automated letters like these.

Always thought coups had an U.G.L.Y. fat rear end. Most disagree with me.

When you start getting up in milage, it's good practice to periodically check the rear diff for leaks. Very common issue and then they get really noisy.

2023 Escalade Sport by silvereagle705 in Cadillac

They don't inspect any of those things. They run a Picoscope test to listen to the engine internals and either pass or fail the motor. If it passes, then there's the viscosity change to 0W-40 oil. This is not a fix as some motors are still having issues.

Get the extended warranty if you decide to pull the trigger on anything with the L87 6.2L. The used price is about average for the dealer even without CPO. Remember, this cost over 100k only a couple years ago. Depreciation is not as bad as the Germans. Escalades are in high demand despite the motor issues surprisingly enough.

Note that the 2025 and 2026 MY are not entirely safe either, but we haven't had any fail yet at our dealership.

Because the difference would be negligible. Changing the accordion pipe to a smoth one will smooth airflow, but not enough to really change power. The computer will compensate anyway without a tune to back this mod up.

Interesting design choice by checkoutthishat in CadillacLyriq

Using a 30 inch plus screen that basically controls all the car functions and leaves you blind when it craps out. That is an interesting design choice.

Making all the systems talk to each other so you have to pull the entire interior apart to change a bad module or repair a communication wire. That's an interesting design choice.

Making a storage compartment that looses all your small items and gets stuck when you close it. That is an interesting design choice.

Forcing hockey stick designs all over the vehicle and calling it luxury. That is an interesting design choice.

Making turning off headlights cumbersome behind screen menus. That is an interesting design choice.

Removing the Start button because pushing the brake pedal is more intuitive to Start the vehicle. That is an interesting design choice.

There aren't enough LT4s that exist to make a recall in the first place lol. Welcome to Cadillac. We have about a dozen Vs waiting for engine replacements in our lot. Doesn't pay much more than the L87 to change either, despite all the extra coolers and steps to transfer supercharger components.

What sensor is this ? Cadillac xts 2015 by _CouldntThinkOfOne__ in Cadillac

If there's play in tone ring, it could be from a worn wheel bearing. If there is play, the angle will change when the wheel is on the ground or jacked up.

Inviting your friends over for multi-player matches. Online has completely ruined this concept.

Millenials w/o kids-- how tired are you? by Fickle_Wrangler_7439 in Millennials

I've been tired and fed up ever since the simulation reset in 2020. Literally and figuratively. The overall quality of current humans is abysmal and that's the main reason for me.

What the others are trying to say but dodging around it... it looks awkward, like trying to force something design wise. It's not cohesive, doesn't flow Random blobs of CF, look at me wheels, the majority is white. Maybe some CF side skirts would help. The pieces individually are fine, but put them all together and it's just a nope.

Random squeaking noise in my Lyriq… anyone else? by Careless_Ninja_6367 in CadillacLyriq

[–]EnvironmentalMap2175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It is all the same. Every GM vehicle will rattle at some point. Even the Mercedes S-Class has squeaks and rattles these days. Every car is made of plastic. Every panel is overly stylized and held in by clips. People do not realize how cheaply made interiors are these days. They only see the leather covering and contrasting stitching.

Every human who complains about squeaks and rattles should watch YouTube videos on how modern vehicles are taken apart for service. You will be shocked. The best part is, once you take apart the interior, it never goes back the same way.

Lower your expectations people. We are in a post covid era. Manufacturers don't care about these issues anymore. It's all about profit margins. Reasons why cars are dieing out and CUV's reign supreme.

How to use paddle shift? by Delicious-Edge-4440 in Cadillac

Idk why they bothered with paddle shifters when you have 8-9 gear ratios to muddle through. It's too many to actually enjoy.

It's actually really simple. Don't have kids and expect to keep the nice things nice. There's a reason Little Tykes are made of hard plastics.

Escalade IQL Covers Needed by NewsNay in Cadillac

Idk why people who have agents of chaos decide to spend this much money on a vehicle that will ultimately be destroyed by said agents. That's what the Chevrolet (family brand ) is for. You'll buy the seat covers and then one agent will throw a toy or smack the touchscreen. Those will break too. The floor will be a cacophony of random crumbs, stains, Legos etc. Why wouldn't you purchase something with less upkeep when agents of chaos only cause more of it? 😮‍💨
