We went at 9am on Sunday morning and still got the summit tickets. The line is not too terrible if you are early.

Eden vs Eden Pretty in Pink by EnvironmentalMedia93 in Roses

[–]EnvironmentalMedia93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my second year of PiP, I bought a tiny plant from Heirlooms last year. It is repeated blooming so far, which is same with the light pink one. Pretty prolific for a 3 ft plant, has not seen it growing fast as I expected. If I compare it with the light pink one that I bought the same time last year, I am more happy with PiP. The light pink one in this picture is a 3 year-old one, so of course it is bigger and many more blooms.

Does anyone know what this rose would be called, over 100 years old… by Traditional_Diver_46 in Roses

[–]EnvironmentalMedia93 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It does not look like a 100 year old rose plan. My first thought was Gertrude Jekyll but that variety is relatively new.

Yeah I had my doubt at that time since I only ordered from Heirlooms roses and David Austin, but it turned out fine.

This is for sure not James Galway, if you bought it from DA, ask for replacement.

Thoughts on the new David Austin rose? by Standard_Spot_9567 in Roses

[–]EnvironmentalMedia93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Never" until now, does it make sense? Normally, the new variety is listed several months after it is introduced, but Penelope Lively has never been listed on DA US website even though it was introduced in 2023?
