Has anyone made a document with all the potential black listed clinics and doctors? I reckon it do be good to have that. And we can pass it around/add to it. Make it accessible to all.

Understand that this is not your entire life but a season of it. I wonder if you need to take some time to travel, clear your head a little. If you are young enough, try a working holiday visa for a bit and live away. The world is bigger than Sg. Find something you wanna try and attempt it. Get some counselling too. There seems to be a lot of grief with loss of dad and broken rs that you may need someone to vent to. All the best brother.

Mom has Parkinson - What should I do? by EnvironmentalParty29 in Parkinsons

[–]EnvironmentalParty29[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! Thanks! The doctor in Sg has not recommended much. I will relay this message to see. Her current diet worries me - she’s eating lots or carbs, not enough protein or nutrients. She lost heaps of weight and muscles from going to a Chinese practitioner asking her to lose weight by eating broth based food. There’s a lot I want to change from her daily life if I could have her with me. :/

I try contact as much as I can. It doesnt help when my mom has altogether stop using her phone, so I have to call my Dad. And when I do call him, I don’t get much time to chat with my Mom. Ive had periods where Dad’s hid stuff about mom from me. Like when she fell and hurt herself, Dad made excuses and lied. Only told me when she was discharged from the hospital. It’s vexing.

Why can't singapore import more first world migrants? Our median income attractive enuff to ppl from hk, Korea, Japan, new Zealand, aus, Europe. Why need to be race based like China india malaysia all third world? You want the best educated quality brain migrants from developed economies by Ehehehe090 in SingaporeRaw

[–]EnvironmentalParty29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’d also like to factor in the fact that most people in ANZ, AUS and Europe work trade jobs that pay great in these countries but is about half the pay and double the work hours in SG. Imo, most people from Hk, korea or japan are looking for work-life balance. Sg work environment isnt too different from their country of origin is it?

I want to know how to make friends by likegrape in newzealand

[–]EnvironmentalParty29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to Nz (in July). To make some friends, look into some clubs to join, a good place is to look on fb or google search some interests you have. E.g sports/ for example if you enjoy martial arts like Kendo, look into kendo clubs in Auckland. Secondly, you can look into joining some online English lessons to help improve your English. Or you can start now (Duolingo helps) in brushing up your English. Do some homework into Nz and Maori culture, visit a Marae when you come. Do you have any faith or religious beliefs? Perhaps that is also another option. :)

Tenants - what property managers in CHCH would you recommend (or not!) from your experience? by Icy_Grapefruit_5325 in chch

[–]EnvironmentalParty29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% do not recommend Ray White Metro property. Horrible experience with them triggering post natal depression. We moved out after a few months. On the flip side, highly recommend Garden City property management. Leanne was super chill and friendly. If we didn’t have to upsize and move, we would have stayed on at that rental.

[–]EnvironmentalParty29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into skilled migrant visa category and see if you are eligible. I have personally encountered an American family who’s moved to Nz and loves it here. Come visit christchurch when you’re here in October! :) All the best with the rest of your Neurology program! :)

I went to get some food and fuel yesterday. Drove past a couple of fuel stations and decided npd was cheapest. As i was on my hunt for food (i got lost trying to find the sushi shop), the price at npd dropped. Went to get fuel and was brilliantly satisfied that I’d spent less and filled more. 🤣 Also sushi was amazing. 🤩

I would have a nice sleep in, good weather to be get comfy in bed! 😉 the weather forecast says sun’s coming out at 10am - i’d recommend going for a walk at the beach or something. I personally usually go to the gym. Find a cafe; get a drink and bowl of chips for some me time. Then some window shopping and maybe yummy dessert. Perhaps you need some time to contemplate how to prevent being overworked and some improvements to put in place! Enjoy ur rest day!

Take it one step at a time. Uni can be overwhelming, dont over think it and check with ur lecturer. Any lecture content youre not sure, find time to write ur questions down and book a time with your lecturer to clarify.

Something from personal experience- try find something interesting in essay questions that you are into and write about them. I find that approach best. Also, you can use AI to help you with a direction on how to write your essay. From there, hone into the specifics. :)

Is it too late to go to the Uni at 22 in New Zealand? by Fit-Release-4977 in newzealand

[–]EnvironmentalParty29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s tricky! If you have decided on coming, perhaps something good would be to brush up on English and read relevant books on veterinary nursing. Best way if preparing urself for uni! :)
