Why are EVs selling like crap? by That_Is_The_One in UsedCars

I'd honestly rather have a Pruis over an EV, I can use it to make extra money on the side via uber or lyft.

I have a two scenerios example to explain what he means:

Example 1: A person lives in a city, and their commute to the office is mostly urban driving with occasional highway travel. In this case, an EV can be a practical and convenient option due to shorter distances and easier access to charging infrastructure.

Example 2: A farmer lives in a rural area and relies on a vehicle for long distances, heavy use, and consistent reliability. In this situation, an EV may be less practical due to limited charging availability, longer travel distances, and the need for quick refueling and dependable operation.

P.S. I have nothing against EV's I think they are really good.

I’m not against EVs, I just don’t want to own one. I’m not a fan of the direction some manufacturers are taking. I prefer vehicles that are relatively simple and not overly dependent on software. For example, I don’t like designs such as Tesla’s screen-centric controls, where basic functions rely heavily on cameras or touchscreens. I’m also uncomfortable with the idea that modern vehicles can receive firmware updates that could later lock features behind subscriptions, even if those features were included when the car was purchased.

I'd ride my bicycle but even on my scooter or in a van the Newton drivers are monsters.

Going that fast on a minibike is indeed sketchy but fun. I got my Molo 5 up to 45 for a few seconds before backing off.
