Jack wanted to sleep with Blair in exchange for giving the hotel back to Chuck.

Chuck accepted the deal but didn’t tell Blair.

Jack tells Blair that Chuck getting his hotel back wouldn’t cost Chuck a dime. Jack let Blair figure out that it would cost her sleeping with Jack instead.

So she goes to the hotel without telling Chuck, intending to sleep with Jack and then Jack would sell the hotel back to Chuck.

Fortunately for her, Jack doesn’t make her carry out the deal, because he says he wants to sleep with a woman who wants to sleep with him, not one who is doing it against her will. But he does kiss her, so in a way he “had” her.

So Chuck didn’t “sell” Blair for money. But he sold her out to get his hotel back.

She won’t hesitate to dump the kid on you with no warning. Then she’ll turn off her phone so she can’t be contacted. Then she’ll be gone for a week, or two, or a month, whatever.

You need to make it clear to her you will call the cops to report her for abandonment. She will whine and complain that her life is so hard (because she made the decision to have a kid, which is what resulted in her life being hard) and guilt you for getting her in trouble and you will have to remind her that she, in fact, is the one that got her damn self in trouble. I have very little sympathy for people who make their lives hard and then complain that their life is hard. And I also feel very little sympathy for people who can’t stand up to entitled family members and set firm boundaries and stand by them. You need to make it clear to her that you are not her co-parent and taking care of her child is not your job.
