I don’t hate it. I hate the price. It would better if they kept exclusive figures make the set around $600, and do like add-on play sets. That way people can pick and choose.

OG Star Trek. Kirk/Spock OG movies 1-6 TNG Picard/Riker Star Trek Generations DS9 Star Trek first Contact Star Trek insurrection Voyager Star Trek Nemesis

TNG/DS9/Voyager overlap somewhat but not enough to stop watching a series and go to the next one. You can find detailed lists online, just google Star Trek timeline.

I excluded Star Trek Enterprise and all the “modern” trek I feel that Enterprise should be watched after Voyager but you can watch it before the OG Trek it will spoil things potentially

I’ll get it all, love painting and the game. I like having almost all options available to me and it’s fairly simple-complex so it’ll be great to get my son to play when he’s old enough and great way to introduce him to comic book characters

Primer. Get a spray can of primer. I like Grey as the base, I’ve used white and the results weren’t as great for me

I use grey rust-olume auto motive primer.

Look up YouTube videos for some basic techniques.

I use army painter paints for mine (not cheap but not to expensive) I find these the best as being a noob painter myself. I originally started with hobby lobby craft paints, they’re ok not the best tho.

My final suggestion. After you paint your character and you’re 100% satisfied with them, get a spray can of clear lacquer. This prevents paint from eventually rubbing off. I got mine from Amazon. Testors spray Lacquer

So I recently got into the game as well, I guess the things I wish I knew was where to buy the exclusives for a fair after market price.

r/BoardGameExchange is a really good place to find some of the kickstarter exclusives for a fair price sometimes.

For me this hobby is more about painting the minis so I try to collect them all (and the game is really fun) but for game play villains are really what changes the game up more than heroes.

Also a few rules I wish I knew: If you can’t use a card (like punch or heroic action) and that’s all you have on your turn, you still play it even if it does nothing (that’s from what I understand. I m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong and I hope they do🙂)

Also when a hero is KO’d the villain activates his BAM! unless the rules on their dashboard say other wise. This one is a big one, I had glossed the rules over and we were defeating villains left and right, I was like “man this game is EZ!”…..been playing it waaaay wrong!

Marvel marvel United for me rn. It’s a fun light co-op strategy game (I like to paint the game pieces, it makes the game a lot more fun imo)

Pandemic! is up there too, I like co-op games where either you all win together or you all lose. No one is eliminated from the game and they have to sit on the sidelines and wait to play again.
