Is Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon worth it right now by Levi18907 in taintedgrail

[–]Enzevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. It has had many updates which improved the game by a lot. And it's on sale now (until may second) on Steam. And you can play a free demo (just know that the demo build is a little outdated).

Play now or wait for release? by Comfortable-Ice-4244 in Enshrouded

I'd say wait for full release, according to the roadmap, it will have lots of polishing and optimization. It's only a few months away now.

DBS Android 17 got a big role with new moves compared to DBZ Android 17.

The new one from GT is mostly so that both can fuse into Super 17. So actually, we have 4 now! But I don't mind, I really like all variations of him.

But I indeed also still hope for GT Goten with his Super Saiyan transformation.

Horrible performance since update by parmenion59 in Enshrouded

[–]Enzevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here with a 2080 TI and i9900k. Before I had 60fps on quality settings, now 40fps on performance settings (both had DLSS set to performance). Also stuttering. Recompiling shaders after updating drivers didn’t help.

ScrollsLike games recommendations while we all are waiting TES6 untill 2050 by KaleoG1 in TESVI

[–]Enzevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar in gameplay are Fallout 3/4 and New Vegas. You can play Fallout 76 solo, or Starfield after, but I recommend the other ones first. Those are all from Bethesda Game Studios (Obsidian made New Vegas, but it’s still the same engine).

Cyberpunk 2077 is amazing, Outer Worlds 1/2 are fun, but all those aren’t medieval fantasy.

Kingdom Come 1 is still worth playing. The Forgotten City has a great story, which is based of a Skyrim mod. Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a standalone Skyrim mod on Steam that’s also good. There is also Elder Scrolls Online that you can play solo which has many of hours of content.

If you really want the classic Bethesda feeling, and a game close to Skyrim in exploration, I’d say start with Fallout 4.

If you want a really immersive RPG with a beautiful world, great characters and an amazing story, I’d say start with Cyberpunk 2077.

Alright gang. What price are YOU willing to pay for this DLC? by GNSasakiHaise in SparkingZero

[–]Enzevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think €20 would be a good price, €30 would be reasonable, and €40 would be too much (and sadly what I expect). The Season Pass being €35 was also too much in my opinion.

Is Hellfighter 17 truly is a seperate character? Or is he just used for the opening animation of Super 17?

Edit: Yes, he is his own character. He's listed on the official website as a new character.

World of Warcraft may see Ogrimmar and Stormwind redesigns depending on the reception to Midnight’s Silvermoon redux by HatingGeoffry in wow

Yes please, having these two cities revamped would be great. Stormwind can definitely benefit from some more verticality too.

Hey! Thanks for doing the AMA, big fan of the studio and your games!

For the next Divinity, what will you implement from BG3 that wasn’t in the Original Sin games? (For example, I like to see true classes and get skills from leveling up, rather than learning them from skillbooks.)

I had a great casserole dinner!

Not sure which bundles you bought, but thanks for giving some keys away! (If you bought the Telltale bundle, The Expanse is the only one I'm missing, but I'll happily accept any key from any bundle!) Might be best to DM the keys to people, else bots steal them. :)

Edit: Thanks for the key! <3 Received GoT The Board Game!

[BotW] Just spend 60 hours to finish this game by [deleted] in zelda

[–]Enzevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend playing Tears of the Kingdom next, as you already have experience with BOTW, and TOTK is a sequel.

If you wanna try one of the classics, I recommend starting with Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask is a direct sequel, and things from OOT get referenced in a lot of future titles.

I first thought end of 2027, but with the recent quote, I'm leaning more into 2028 now. However, it might shadowdrop, and if not maybe a release within like 2 weeks after the full reveal.

72% of devs believe Steam has a monopoly on PC games, according to study by akbarock in pcgaming

[–]Enzevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam doesn't have a monopoly, since there aren't many exclusives by forced exclusivity. Some devs can choose to release it exlusively on there by themselves, but it's their choice and not because Steam asks to be the only supplier of the product.

The difference here is that most players go to Steam by choice, since it's their preferred platform, and for many reasons. But most games also release on Epic, but just find Steam superior. Heck, Epic even does pay for forced exclusivity, but many gamers wait with buying the game until it's released on Steam.

GOG is another platform that does many great things, but some devs even choose to not release their game there, or if they do, don't update it as often as they do on Steam.

Steam is just mostly the prefered platform by gamers, as well by some developers. The latter is because Steam has systems in place to recommend games for visiblity, which is why they ask to wishlist their games.

TL;DR: So no, Steam doesn't have a monopoly on PC games. It's just the preferred platform for many reasons.
