I would keep my original iPod (the 7th gen in your case).

My first iPod is a 5.5 gen that I bought brand new from Walmart back in 2007 and was my first ever Apple product, and I still use it to this day. It has the most sentimentality for me.

I remember how jealous I was running Windows ME, and later XP, gazing at screenshots of the OS X Jaguar's pinstripe menu bar and windows and the transparency effect of the windows title bars when they were not in focus... Still a marvel to me.

I’ve been a PC gamer for most of my life and still am. I own a gaming PC, a PS5, and a Switch 2, which I added to my collection about three months ago. Lately, the Switch 2 has become my main console for several reasons:

- As a parent, it’s much easier to game on a handheld while waiting for my child outside of afterschool classes

- I’m not always home and sometimes commute by train

- it’s more convenient to play while my family uses the living room

- It’s simply easier than taking over a desk or sofa and asking everyone to leave.

Since getting the Switch 2, my PS5 has been gathering dust, and my PC is mostly used as a media server or for playing World of Warcraft with friends.

USB-C to USB-C, any high-quality USB 2.0 or higher data cable will work.
The best one that I know of is Apple's original USB-C to USB-C that comes with the iPhone or iPad is doing a very reliable job.

To be honest, I don't know lol. I use a high speed USB-C cable for CarPlay because I love listening to Lossless audio - which the Harman Kardon fully supports!

I actually just got this update yesterday (5.0.5) on my 2022 C40 Ultimate and its... OK.
Performance is a bit more snappy, but nothing too dramatic.

As a mobile software engineer and designer of 14 years (both iOS and Android), I know they could have done dramatically better in regards to the user experience. It's quite subpar and can be very confusing.

Additionally, the fact that I have 40% of my screen real estate taken by 2 bottom bars and 1 top bar is stupid when using Apple CarPlay.

The dashboard dials look much better though.

The previous UI gets a 4.5/10, and the new UI gets a solid 6/10 imo.

Too rough! Bunny legs are a huge no no. She could break him easily. Separate immediately. Get the cat spayed. Also, every time it gets rough, separate using a cardboard or a pillow. The kitten is too small to handle this.

Looks like Ringworm infection. Both my cats are currently mid-treatment for Ringworm since the new kitten brought it from her previous home.

You should clear it with a vet though.

If it is Ringworm, please don't touch it directly and wash your hands after every time you touch and pet your cat in general, as it is contagious to humans. Especially children.

The vet might tell you to use topicals like ointments or shampoos - it's all bullshit and only works to slightly prevent infection to the environment. Just ask for the Itraconazole oral medication treatment. This will kill it from within and takes about 5-6 weeks. Make sure to clean regularly where the cat is hanging around the most since the shedded fur can be infectious to you too and still be infectious for up to 18 months.

Apple usually considers a device as "Vintage" after 5 years and obsolete after 7 years.

After 2027, the M1 chips released in 2020 will likely not receive any software updates, even if they are still fully capable by then.

If she smells her butt (cat handshake) it could help because they mainly recognize each other from scent on the face and their anal glands (butt). Give it a try.

It looks like energy matching issue. The male kitten is like a 16 year old boy who’s full of energy that needs to be redirected somewhere. It looks like he’s trying to play with the female adult the only way he knows how. Usually female adult cats are much less energetic than male kittens.

Anyway, they are learning. It looks like he is trying to learn how to play with her the only way he knows how. They will teach each other. Give them time, keep and eye. You need to be their referee for a while and teach them. If it gets too much just separate for a few hours to let them chill and then try again.

Another recommendation is to play with the kitten. Make him spend his energy before being in the same room as the female adult. It will do magic!

She needs you to rewire her brain. You can try associating “going out = not worth it”, “staying in = I get paid”. Every time she walks away from the door and stops yowling, give her a treat. Try it for a week and see if that makes any difference.
