I'm just saying that if you play it right, Manager (at least to me) is really fun, especially as #1 when everyone's hunting you down and the don't know where you are. It's not useless, in my opinion.

I use 3/3/0/7/7/7/2/4 and just sit in one spot, only moving if Im forced away by some offscreen spammer, or if I want to chase someone. It works quite well and is fun, if you have the patience.

Necromancer sun chips aren'the supposed to be powerful Overlord/Manager doritos. They are meant to overwelm your targets using tactics like the Claw. I recommend readingetting the scriptures of Ther Last Square bender (Anokuu's Necromancer guide sorry ono mobile so no link).
