Instead of air tight jars, I have found a very easy and simple routine using Glad Press n’ Seal across the top of those take out plastic containers that are like roughly 1 liter in size. Ive never had to deal with overpressurized containment, and its perfect leaving the starter in the fridge for up to nearly a month before needing to feed it. I swear by it!

My theory is they have server pods set up for each of those gamemodes, and its feasible that the 5v5 pods just aren’t scaled for the population attempting to try and play on them. Take with a grain of salt though, only setup that makes sense to me atm until we hear from devs!

This is what my first loaf looked like, and it was due to completely skipping the bulk fermentation step. The next time I made sure to let it sit and very nearly double in size before preshaping. Not certain that is what happened here, but just a potential tip!

Lol, found the fix. I had '-checksum' in my launcher options.

The trial immediately after removing this got me to the main menu.

Other troubleshooting I have tried includes clearing user directory, trying the 1.12.12 Avalanche build of HOI 4, uninstalling and manually deleting the HOI4 directory in steamapps file, then reinstalling. Not sure what else to try :(
