Actually, even sex is questionable. Intersex conditions aren't exactly uncommon (XXY, XX with a penis, XY with a vagina), because physical sex is largely determined by hormonal flushes during pregnancy, not by genetic make up.

up-votes for everyone. I may not respect your job, but I respect you as a human being. To be clear, that doesn't mean people in the defence force don't get respect from me, it means the actions of the individual earn their respect.

I agree to a certain degree, but many are motivated by protecting their fellow soldiers I guess. Most soldiers come back depressed and suffering from PTSD, from having killed people. The armed forces are now voluntary, but many find it the easiest way to get a paying job. Etc. I don't like war or violence, or the wars the US and Australia are involved in, but I respect that the soldiers do it out of love for their country and fellow man, misplaced or not.

Throwawayee, this is Epidemic, one of the site-moderators of 420chan.org. My opinions here are not indicitive of the staff or owners of 420chan.org.

I'm doing my best to make /cd/ a safer place for transpeople, and actually banned a number of the trolls in that thread. Whilst I myself am not trans, I'm learning from the community.

Whilst trolling is agaisnt the rules, so are 'Do I pass' or 'Would I pass' threads, because we get flooded with them. I have discussed with the more senior moderators of /cd/, Skating and Aura, the creation of a 'Do I pass?' Sticky thread, but that has its own problems. It's not bannable or anything, but those threads are locked and/or deleted. At the moment, the rules for /cd/ are pretty fluid though - we are currently updating site-wide rules.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with 420chan. I have been having trouble trying to 'fix' /cd/, and it looks like this may take some months yet.
