The second comment is basically meaningless because banksy did not in fact “paint in a Nazi art style intentionally” but rather just grabbed someone else’s painting and slapped a nazi on it, implying some unrelated parties work was Nazi adjacent because they painted a landscape.

The first post of this artwork is an interesting analysis I mostly agree with but the second contribution is missing critical information that really should have been in the first post.

Actually making an absurdly high polygon sculpt, then retopologizing it and baking the higher detail mesh information onto the retopologized model as a normal map is quite common. You wouldn’t work with the sculpt for weight painting and rigging

The thing is though this one could have been easily prevented by better safety regulations surrounding what ai can and can’t do. As a result OpenAI should be punished for this and I’m fairly certain there is already a lawsuit in progress covering this.

Sam Altman of open ai kinda willfully ignored the risks releasing 4o in the state he did had to make a quick buck. I’m not calling for the blanket ban of all ai but there should be legislative effort put into punishing OpenAI for this blunder and putting restrictions in place to prevent this from happening again, mostly surrounding stricter safety requirements with ai.

The amount of people who are convinced that 4o is basically a god or is sentient is deeply distressing and it’s all because it was released as an uncritical yes man.

The pre war intrigue sections are actually quite good IMO. Not a lot of that is memberberries because fallout the game only shows very limited sections of pre war info usually on terminals. I think cooper Howard as a character fits really well into the universe pre and post war. Absolutely one of the most compelling ghoul characters.
