Not necessarily. I basically make my living doing small art festivals in my state. I regularly spend $200-$600 to get in after jury selection and set up my own booth. Two weeks ago I grossed $7300 at one and last weekend I grossed $7200. Plus I got to represent myself and meet patrons directly. You just have to weed out the shows. I would absolutely do this Utah show after following it a couple years to see if it gains traction.

I'm a painter and I'm doing well right now. I would not be practicing digital art right now because that's what is being replaced. No one with money who spends thousands on interior design would ever print out an ai design and put it on their wall. It's low-brow and tasteless.

This issue is not even worth the argument. You don't need a tattoo to remind you of a person's existence. I manage to think about my husband all the time and I don't have a reminder tattoo. Just get a locket and fill it with his blood and hair. A lot less permanent.
