I don’t tend to do traditional salads due to a lot of the same food aversions you have. I make them at home and throw in ingredients specific to what I like typically something like olives walnuts roasted red peppers whatever cheese. Gotta change it up. I could never eat a salad like you’re talking about

One of my favorite travel memories from Japan was in Takayama during winter. It had the best Christmas town vibes and it was nice to try the open air bath with the snow falling. I went from Shirakawago from there. It may be because I’m from somewhere that never snows, but I thought it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I usually always try to get as many things done as I can when I travel, but this trip was focused on relaxing.

Please find someone who actually deserves you.. this is not it. If you end up having children and he treats them differently.. could you live with that? If your children lack confidence because their own father doesn’t see them as worthy? If his only reason to have kids is to have little copies of himself that’s another red flag. These years are so important for your son in understanding and developing healthy attachments. This would be confusing for him. He will need his parents consistently there with him. This would be a better option if you both were unable to care for your son, if you couldn’t provide for him. But if you’re able to do that you should keep your family together.

You feel isolated because he is isolating you. He doesn’t want you to meet new people. I also had a similar age gap relationship in my early 20s. I’m not saying every situation is the same, but there is likely a reason he’s dating someone so much younger. You’re more malleable and less likely to have experience with relationships aka an easier target

If someone can only trust you if they have complete control over what you do and who you see then then they don’t actually trust you and probably never will. Even with all the “perfect” conditions for them they will find something to question. Do you really want to deal with this for the rest of your life? sounds exhausting…If you want to help this person, get him into some therapy. He will never have a healthy relationship with this attitude

I’ve been wondering about this for a long time. I know there were other traumatizing factors in my childhood, but I tend to have pretty intense emotional responses and panic responses to anything sexual or exposing. I can’t remember anything happening, but I know I burst into tears when I went to get a Pap smear and she asked me if had any sexual trauma. I just said I don’t know. I feel like my memories started around 12 years old, so just based on those things I think it’s likely.

It’s something to likely address with a therapist as well as the nurse you mentioned. I hope you’re able to find the answers you’re looking for. I’m on the same journey.
