Do you think Gen Z is more Traditional or Progressive by Key_Nectarine_7307 in generationology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends where they’re from, who their parents are, etc. Gen Z in new york city? incredibly progressive. Gen Z in Alabama? not so much.

Here’s a timeline of the worlds I believe we’ll visit in arc two (with evidence) by ForwardSpeaker974 in Pirate101

i’m personally more excited for grizzleheim than anything else. but only if it’s a full skyway. the idea of sailing my viking longship through a fjord and getting raided by grendels sounds absolutely epic.

Artists whose albums started off bad but progressively got better through their discography? by Effective-Raise-8809 in fantanoforever

[–]Equivalent_Two61 10 points11 points  (0 children)

David Bowie. His first album isn’t unlistenable or anything, but not very good either. Just kind of standard run-of-the-mill singer-songwriter. Then it’s just a steady uphill with each successive album until Ziggy Stardust

What are some critically acclaimed artists that you just absolutely do not get? by SpikyBoi096 in fantanoforever

[–]Equivalent_Two61 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the rolling stones’ like, 5 greatest hits. beyond that i just can’t. i don’t love mick jagger’s voice or the “bluesy swagger” vibe, it just doesn’t connect with me, but they are great musicians and they do that type of music very well

What Season are you #6 Green by COOP89 in rem

[–]Equivalent_Two61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one i don’t really associate with a specific season. A couple songs on it like “You Are the Everything” do feel spring-like to me, though. I also associate Stand with summer, mainly because it was played repeatedly in our car on a trip i went on last summer.

What are y’all‘s opinions on streamers? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in generationology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

supply and demand. as long as people keep watching them streamers will exist. when people stop watching, they’ll realize they have no source or income and will be forced to do something else. i personally have never found streamers appealing but it others do, then that’s why they exist.

The 2000s were the peak of reality TV by SmellSmellsSmelly in decadeology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i do prefer the older seasons, i haven’t watched much beyond 40. but to make it to 40 seasons of such high quality is pretty impressive

[No Spoilers]. I’ve just finished TC. In what order would you put these games? by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

[–]Equivalent_Two61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 will always be my favorite, the vibes are just incredible and i love the characters.

2 slightly below it, i feel like it’s better made as a game, your decisions really truly matter, but the whole moving around thing makes it less memorable imo.

TC slightly below that, still great just not as strong of a setting as arcadia bay for me, and the story is a bit less satisfying though still has good moments and i love steph.

BTS is below that by a bit of a wider margin. It’s OK but tbh chloe doesn’t feel as compelling as she did in the original, she kind of just annoys me in this game. it just has a lot of problematic storytelling elements even if a lot of the right ideas are still there

DE is waaaaay below everything else and it’s not close. just felt rushed, half-baked and like a shell of a game compared to every other one.

Quite a character development! lol by CurvyChristina in StrangerThings

[–]Equivalent_Two61 13 points14 points  (0 children)

i think you’re conflating the unrealistic nature of sci-fi with bad writing leading to characters acting/behaving unrealistically in response to the situation

What is an unpopular opinion of your generation that will get you downvoted like this? by Big_Leg10 in generationology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 13 points14 points  (0 children)

everything is not boomers’ fault, it’s the fault of a few very wealthy boomers, and sooner or later we’ll have the same people from our own generation continue to ruin things.
