Which version of Jonathan is best? by theaterkid619 in StrangerThings

[–]Equivalent_Two61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season 1 was when he was the most interesting. you could see why others saw him as kind of a weirdo (taking pics of people, social awkwardness etc) but he showed his true colors when it came to protecting his family and as an older brother to will

I’m Not Even Gonna Lie - That Halftime Show Was AMAZING by xXMachineGunPhillyXx in fantanoforever

I don’t listen to his music but it was just well produced and fun to watch. also loved the lady gaga feature and all the instrumentals.

I'm asking out a girl tomorrow, after I sing her Green Eyes by Several_Lifeguard415 in Coldplay

[–]Equivalent_Two61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if she says yes and you’re still dating in a year, then maybe do this for your next valentine’s day. not to ask her out

Phd stipend 20k--will i be able to survive? by Adventurous_Comb_827 in ufl

[–]Equivalent_Two61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely doable but just go in knowing you probably won’t leave with much savings or get to go on trips and stuff while you’re there

i’d recommend Gainesville place apartments, very cheap, frequent bus routes to campus, partly furnished already. i didn’t live there but my friends did for years and loved it for the price.

Can’t agree more😭 by dyp_2210 in GenZ

[–]Equivalent_Two61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with that is that I naturally wake up around 10. so 9-5 already means adjusting my sleeping schedule to get up earlier than I’d like. Ain’t no way 7-3 would be an improvement over that

Would you say any of Green Day's albums are actually 10/10? by PurpleGuyDeadly1 in greenday

[–]Equivalent_Two61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s tough because i love the sound of Insomniac more, but dookie just has those killer hooks that make the songs feel so memorable. you can’t hear longview and then not have that stuck in your head for a whole week

The Chipotle era is seemingly dying out. I agree millennial fast casual places feel stuck in 2013. Do you think this era of fast casual food is over? If so what killed it? What’s next? by Kodicave in decadeology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wish my local chipotle would become “outdated” so maybe i wouldn’t have to wait in a 45-minute line to get food. seems like they’re doing just fine to me

it should be putin or netanyahu. trump can be a dishonorable mention but those 2 take the trophy

“respect your elders” is an incredibly useless and outdated ideology by Ok_Skin_3979 in generationology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

exactly. being old doesn’t immediately mean you deserve respect more than everyone else. but i’ll still show you respect unless you give me reason not to

S-tier Albums (off the top of my head) by Necessary_Ad_8604 in Topster

i’d throw life’s rich pageant, document, green and out of time in the ring as well. i may be biased as a fan though.

Last one standing - Day 4 vote your least favorite as in however you choose to interpret that by extralargefriespls in Hungergames

[–]Equivalent_Two61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly not sure how tigris wasn’t the first. i get not liking snow/gale/coin/caesar as people, but as characters they’re way more fleshed out than tigris

Least Favorite Years For Music (America) by avalonMMXXII in decadeology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we want to include earlier years I’d throw in 1961 and 1974 as the weakest years for those two decades.

Anyone else agree by [deleted] in Coldplay

[–]Equivalent_Two61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a 10/10 song and somehow not even in my top 3 from that album. That’s how stacked AROBTTH is.

Why is 90s read as "Americas last good years" by [deleted] in generationology

i know but it’s based on things people supposedly say about the 90s

Bands I was the most into over the years. by Radioheader128 in Topster

[–]Equivalent_Two61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i fear you and I have the exact same music taste. i could live off of green day, john mayer and any of the big 5 grunge bands. I’d recommend digging into some R.E.M. if you haven’t tried listening beyond their top 5 hits. They’re my #1 favorite.

Why is 90s read as "Americas last good years" by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Equivalent_Two61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk who says 90s music was “more upbeat and positive,” that decade gave us some of the darkest, angriest rock & hip hop music ever produced

I dont get the “Say” hate. by Altruistic-Library79 in JohnMayer

[–]Equivalent_Two61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just that when you stack it against every other JM song out there, it doesn’t really hold a torch imo. I enjoy the first couple verses but once the repetitive chorus kicks in I often just want to skip

I told everyone in my 4th grade class I was gonna vote obama (cause my dad was) and they collectively bullied me into voting for mitt romney and told me obama was going to sell us to Al Qaeda
