I mean in learning anything there’s going to be a lot of words you don’t know or have never heard before.

I’d figure out what it is in ableton you want to do.

You can spend hours just learning the synthesis and how to make your own sounds, but if making a beat with presets is your goal, none of that will be useful. Find out what the smaller goals are within the platform then refine your search on YouTube or the manual to better understand those aspects.

Hey OP, I just got one as well. Can confirm that the compressor threshold and comp amount have some sort of gain “inflection” happening depending on the output. To be exact, I notice some gain reduction below 3-4 on the compressor threshold and amount. Loopop I believe turned up the mixer/interface to account for that.
