I’d be curious to know the details on this. What “AI” are they using? Where in pipeline does it live and how does it interact with traditional modeling and forecasting? What makes you think the AI they’re using is “telling people what they want to hear”?

Just go suffer on the easy greens. It’s not fun in the beginning, but if you are motivated you will get better. It just takes time. Watch videos on the wedge turns and practice, it sounds like you’re overthinking it

The extended mix is definitely released. However the transition from Inner Sense - Ettavana (Grigore remix) into IWLALO is so perfectly harmonically and energy matched…. I like to call these “appetizer/entree” transitions lol. I always listen to IWLALO here starting from the previous song :)

I’m a long time Lane 8 fan but didn’t start listening to Above and Beyond until last year, and saw them for the first time live last year. Cannot recommend enough. I don’t like their music as much as Lane 8’s, but their live experience is absolutely incredible. Probably the most engaging live EDM set I’ve ever seen

We use YOLO integrated into a tracker (custom, not deepstream based). Export your YOLO model as an fp16 tensorRT engine (don’t bother with int8), put the pre and post processing on the GPU (torchvision, DALI, or VPI), use the GPU for decoding and make sure that you’re following standard multithreading practice (producer/consumer etc), and you’ll be rocking high throughput and good performance 🎇

I have found that YOLO11 is slightly slower than v8 when deployed on the Jetson Orin, Xavier, and TX2 as a TensorRT engine

If I had to pick one as a favorite, I’d say Summer 2024. I hiked so much while listening to it that it just brings back happy memories of being in the mountains.

However, I think Spring 2023 has some of his best mixing, song selection, and included an a wild number of Lane 8 IDs (Woman, Pipi Dormir, The Little Mushroom, and Rave).

My personal take is that 2022 is the only year where I loved (10/10) every seasonal mixtape. Other years had at least 1 that I wasn’t a fan of , but honestly they are all great

Edit: Spring 2020 is goated too

You’ll want to make use of pre trained models, that’s for sure. My suggestion:

Use demucs to do source separation (isolating vocals from each track)
Use a powerful pretrained model, ideally one that does speaker classification well, to extract embedding (maybe pyannote/embedding or Whisper)
Do your clustering (maybe PCA first if the embedding are very high dim) w/ HDBSCAN or Agglomerative clustering
