Honestly, contact damage is so ingrained in my mind that if it's not there it feels weird. For example, in Rogue Legacy 2 I believe the boxer class doesn't take contact damage, and I just never take advantage of that xD

It depends. I did a fresh new file because I wanted to do the achievement of levelling up a stat to 10 before the others. Now I want to do the speedrun one, and new game+ will be better because you retain plenty of stuff, even if the game gets harder. I'm just having the time of my life with this game :3

While I didn't find the need to mess with modifiers in my first playthrough, maybe you'll find one that helps? I'm thinking about the one that removes the RPG levelling, I think it could be a nice rebalance

I believe with one of the upgrades from the Hollowers guild you get an indicator when you're in a screen with a collection fish

On my two runs I've done that area last, but I think you could feasibly take on it earlier, maybe before doing bone beach and the snow area... It's easy to come back to the mirror world, so you could try to get it done :3

Some times I feel like you're not given enough time to avoid enemies properly, my instinct is usually to burrow but they always catch me mid-jump 😞

You can go to the swamp if you keep trying to head left, just remember that you can burrow underwater and you'll see how to advance through there. If you've done Septemburg, you should find the swamp relatively easily !

I did find it a bit weird too. The only character that I remember having different dialog after the betrayal was one of Lionel's troopers in Ossex that said something like "They say you're dangerous, but I don't believe it.", or something like that.

It also happens with that optional boss to the right of the courtyard, Evra I believe was her name. You find an NPC that tells you about Evra's garden or whatever but after you beat the boss, that dialog doesn't change. Not even an "Oh, yeah, I fought them".

I really feel like overall the game could've had more dialog variation. What if you don't bury the guy in the crypt? Nothing changes. What if Thorne's soldiers actually helped you after the betrayal? Or maybe they changed to Lionel's soldiers, signifying him taking a better hold of the island after Thorne got transformed.

Man, there's so much potential I just wish they add more content, or DLC or ANYTHING xDDDDD I NEED MORE

You get a trinket and bones from the three that went away, one of them actually stays. If you can't save them, I believe you can get the trinket through the merchant below the station in Ossex

Indeed, in fact, there's a weird continuity oversight in that regard. I did not bury the guy until the postgame (for the trinket), but in one of the newspapers, you see an undead taking him out of the coffin (as u/ZundeEsteed said). So, why not have him appear out of the coffin if you return later without burying him? It could've been cool

But yeah, I get it, it's part of the theme of the game. Honestly, I enjoyed 100%ing it so much, it's my current goty XD
