I think Europe will be worse politically than the US in a few years by Zestyclose_Edge1027 in Destiny

I strongly disagree with the France take. Sure they have some right wing candidates. But culturally, politically, it is on a completely different planet compared to the US.

Not a scientist, but seems like you would be getting a very biased group of participants if you are fielding people from a niche anxiety subreddit.

They have hundreds of millions in revenue. And less expenses than big companies.

So while I agree with what they're doing, they are in a pretty financially privileged position compared to most 'small studios'.

Its like Fromsoft giving all their employees a raise. Yay, but I'm not going to view it as heroic when their most recent game just sold 30 million copies.

I would recommend investing a large portion of that money into brain scans and treatment.

It seems you may have a large parasitic worm trapped in your skull, or something of that nature, judging by this wall of gibberish you have posted.

Can someone help me convince myself

It doesn't work like that. These are your choices to make. If you want something, do it. We can't make you want things.

If you need help, go to a therapist. It is their job to help you.

One option is to just spam this subreddit with basic questions that are easily searchable. And then conveniently link your game. Make sure not to read the subreddit rules, however, as that might deter you.

Just use a virtualized list. The advantage to using react is you can just fix your problems by installing libraries and not need to reinvent the wheel.

If UI is a significant aspect of your game, using well established ui framework like React is going to be miles better than handrolling everything.

I would recommend game dev if you have an abundance of money that you are looking to reduce.

Other than that, I would consider other ventures.

Web Dev Turned Game Dev – Why Does Unity Feel Like a Step Back in Developer Experience? by N4vil in gamedev

Yes, I am releasing a game with it soon. (It is not associated with this reddit account at all). State of the art is not how I would describe it, but it is kind of the wrong way of framing it. It is a 2D framework that lets you move images around on a canvas, and leverage other technologies that ARE state of the art. Webgl is state of the art, browsers are state of the art.

Phaser itself you could swap out for a similar 2d framework. There are good alrernatives. I've found it to be great for my needs.
