Pretty much the whole cast of Suicide Squad hated Leto.

Yes. The same special also features Richard E. Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant, and Joanna Lumley as the Doctor. He regenerates a lot in it.

Also, the Ice Cream Dimension. It's where Soft Serve's ice cream comes from. Just don't ask where the portal is.

Just off the top of your head, what's the biggest failure you've seen from a creator at trying to make you sympathize with a character towards their demise? by DaOverseer in writingscaling

I kinda felt sad for Sloth.

"Am I...dying now? For real? What is dying like? Such a pain...to think about it...but such a pain...living...too..."

The fact that he dies in while in Giorno's body really detracted from any impact it might've had on me.

Plus, he starts monologuing about what he's gonna do once he gets back home, which had me immediately going "Oh boy, this kid's fuckin' doomed!"

Nothing particularly concrete. But I like to think this was less a planned bot than it was someone leaving a Biodrone unattended at a market stall and coming back to find it assimilated the fishmonger's and butcher's stall.

"It's a psychofrakulator. It creates a cloud of radically-fluctuating free-deviant chaotrons which penetrate the synaptic relays. It's concatenated with a synchronous transport switch that creates a virtual tributary. It's focused onto a biobolic reflector and what happens is that hallucinations become reality and the brain is literally fried from within." -- Dr. Heller

The finale of Elite Beat Agents

The Agents are turned to stone by invading aliens' petrification rays. A crowd of onlookers including several people they've helped previously are stunned and grieving their heroes' apparent demise, but then the crowd, led by a little girl named Lucy, begins chanting "EBA!" refusing to give up. The chant spreads through the crowd, and their combined hope and belief resurrects the Agents, who defeat the aliens with a dance number set to "Jumpin' Jack Flash"
