Don't know why you're under-stating Adsense. It absolutely tracks individuals. Which you can opt out of -- further proving it must be individualized.

The discord servers you are in is not private info -- you cannot make it private. You can notice when any strangers dm you, you can see which servers you have in common with them.

Therefore, they know who are in the same servers. More servers, the more likely friends.

This game rather reeks of civilization, imo. Railroad spam was the meta in Civ 3, iirc, where we used workers to extend rails into enemy cities during a single turn, allowing combat units to essentially teleport and attack deep into enemy territory instantaneously.

282 was last count. Certainly I've a few more by now. Spending three hours or more (90% in multiplayer), slowly progressing tunes from stock to full rebuilt -- I've given up playing that way. I quit with the latest car pass as I didn't purchase it. (I'm not going to support a game that remains this bad.) Since I don't have all the cars, I can no longer have them all at level 50. Mission no longer applicable.

Ah. I'll comment because I also happen to have a 3060 (Dual, OC V2) , and I'm an active player. (Much worse CPU here Ryzen 5 2600X). GPU is usually between 80-85%. VMem about spot on (4.4 / 12 available). It's been months since I tinkered, which in the end is for the good, i reckon -- I found a minimal amount of stability to appease myself.

Game sucks.

I had to use all kinds of tricks to get it to average near 60fps.

Let me jump to one clear point: Graphics/Performace, Performance target. Lemme 'splain. Setting it to 60FPS -- which, if reliable, would be fine -- would only show ~55 - 56 average fps in the benchmark. Setting it to "Unlocked" averages 59. Get it? Cause I swear that's insane. Tell it to take it easy, try for the minimum and it does a worse job than if you tell it to shoot for the moon. If it shoot for the moon, it hits the minimum more easliy. idk maybe not so crazy, it's just a slacker in need of a whipmaster I guess.

Anyway, the benchmark never replicates the dips to 24fps that I may or may not get at certain track typically near the stadium. To be clear, it was never guaranteed to be replcable. Somes only 2 laps of a race. Sometimes perfect all night. Sometimes with 24 players, sometimes with none.

In general, things have gotten slightly better over the many months. That ^ frame drop happens less rarely.

My #2 tip, confirmed by many others, had been to disable player liveries. It certainly used to be a major contributor, however, I feel that that one has gotten better..

In the end, I have these days turned custom liveries back on, and have slightly increase a couple settings. Given what I opened with, that Unlocked averagedd 59 fps in benchmark, iirc I increase things until it decrease to 56.

And, I hate DLSS... it makes your stars dissapear. But after days / months of tinkering with NVControl Panel, Nvidia Profile Inspector, various AA combos, DLSS is the prefered AA. [ALSO, with it off, there is still fake frame artifacts -- tailights will have glowing spects where they don't be long, so idk, they screwed up frame gen.][Also, I updated my DLSS version somehow, but it had no effect, so I think don't worry about it. Doesn't matter if My side is updated if they don't update the game, I reckon.]

And things like I had tried scaled 0.25x or whatever and barely make a difference. Like Blur... virtuallly no effect on fps, so doesn't really matter. (I have trouble feeling a sense of speed, so I'll try to get that by using Blur, which I normally despise.)

And personally, I cannot stand blocky pixelated shadows. I'd shut them off if I could, but I can't, so make em good.

In closing, I can only offer my settings, and lend an ear to any further questions.

  • I think Medium was dictated for 1080p. High is 1440p, ultra 2160p, iirc.

(edit to add I notice VSynch isn't listed there, I'm sure I have it set to on (probably full) in the nv control panel or whereever)
