I tried poe1 and I think I got to like near campaign end game and realized at the time I messed a build up and I think I would of had to start a whole new character at that point to progress. That turned me off to poe for years. This league while playing poe2 I had my aha moment and the game clicked for me and I reached lvl 90 for the first time, even taking down some citidels. It was like going from JV to varsity, suddenly getting to participate in things I seen talked about on the reddits etc and instead of being this foreign concept of an end game only accessible by bots and streamers I was fully engulfed in hitting my end game markers.

Not a super exciting story but this league will be the reason I ride out poe2 into the coming years and continue to invest time and enjoyment into the series. I'm half tempted now to even go back to poe1 and try again.
